2 : Invitation

" Let's get to enjoy life while we still have the chance, Jerry. We don't get this chance every year. We're actually lucky enough to have a vacation this long" Saad lamang niya.

" Saan mo gustong magbakasyon Shey" Tanong ko.

" I planned on going out with my family members but since that would mean leaving you without companion, sumama ka na lang sa amin" He initiated.

Eto na naman tayo eh, kung pamilya ang usapan, wala akong binatbat. Kumbaga, parang bagsak ako pagdating sa usaping pamilya. I grew up in an orphanage, kaya wala akong nakilalang totoong kadugo ko. I was raised by nuns, sila na rin ang kinagisnan kong mga magulang hanggang sa lumaki na ako.

" Sige, I would gladly join" I told him. Totoo naman kase eh. Wala na akong ibang makakasama pang magbakasyon bukod sa mga kaibigan ko.

And Shey has been one of my trusted friends. Kahit bakla siya, tinuring niya akong parang tunay na kapatid. He's like an older sister to me.

" I know you would, Jerry. Dahil pupunta kami ng Palawan" Saad ni Shey.

" Talagang pupunta ako" I told him. Matagal ko na rin kaseng gustong pumunta ng palawan. Wala nga lang akong kasama noon kaya palaging hindi ako natutuloy sa pagpunta.

" Alam kong gusto mong pumunta ng Palawan, Jerry" Saad ni Shey sa kabilang linya

" Salamat" I just told her.

I decided to pack my things, ready for a vacation to Palawan when someone knocked at my door.

I wasn't waiting for a visitor to come over kaya naman nagtaka ako.

I just opened my unit's door.

Nagulat na lamang ako ng iluwa non ang kahulihuliang taong gusto kong makita.

" Miss me" Saad agad niya

" Goodbye Mr. Montero" I was about to close the door when he expertly slipped his hands making its way to opening my door.

Damn it.

" Not yet, babe. Too early for goodbyes" Saad niya ng tuluyan na siyang makapasok sa unit ko. His stared roamed around my place before gazing back at me with a smile

" I'm amazed, your place looks clean." He complimented but I don't care.

" Why are you here Mr. Montero at wala ka ng paki alam sa kalinisan ng unit ko" Saad ko sa kanya

" I'm here to ask you out. I'm having a vacation and I want you to come with me" Saad lamang niya.

" Ang kapal din ng mukha mo no. You just came barging on my house asking me out on a vacation. Well, I'm telling you now Mr. Montero, I'm declining your offer. I've already decided for myself. And how the hell did you know I'm living here" Tanong ko agad sa kanya.

" I followed you last night" Simpleng sagot niya

I made a face

" Next time, you don't do that to me. Hindi ka aso para sundan ako" Saad ko sa kanya

" I cared for your safety that's why. And I don't just follow women because of no reason babe" I heard him say.

" Then why the hell did you follow me, Mr. Montero. What is your reason. That is impractical" I told him.

" You are the only woman I tend to follow, I bet my life for that babe and I don't even understand why the heck do I want to see you now" He almost whispered.

" What" I whispered back.

He suddenly move closer near me.

I mentally cursed when I felt my body trapped between the wall and him.

" What the heck are you doing Mr. Montero." I finally had the courage to ask him such question.

" I'm here for you, babe" He answered

" You just met me last night. It's not even acceptable that you would just come barging in my house telling me about those damn things" I scolded him.

" Would you rather believe me if I tell you that you've kept me awake all night because of your kiss" He muttered.

Umiling agad ako.

" That's a lie" I told him but damn it, his eyes says the other way around.

I cannot even see any lies and regrets in his eyes. It were pure honesty and truth.

" Look here babe. I wouldn't ran for a girl in case you don't know. Women chase after me but I don't know what had me thinking to come barging in your house because I'm so close of just crashing my lips with yours" He honestly said.

" Ano ba ang-" I didn't even continue the words I was about to say when he suddenly crashed his lips with mine, capturing it.

Damn, he was a good kisser.

" Sei mio, Jerry (You are mine, Jerry)" He muttered under his breath

I pushed him. How dare him kiss me.

"Non sono tuo, Mr. Montero (I'm not yours, Mr. Montero)"

" Si sei mia, babe (Yes you are mine, babe)" Saad niyang muli.

" Che diamine stai dicendo (What the heck are you saying)" I told him.

How come this man understands Italian

" Sto dicendo la verità, babe (I'm saying the truth, babe)" He said

" You understand Italian" I asked him. All this time, he actually was able to understand what I am saying.

" Yes, babe. I totally understand Italian by heart" I mentally cursed at his answer

" Si è impossibile Mr. Montero (You are impossible Mr. Montero) " I just muttered

" Well, you can't blame me, babe. I think I just fell in love with an amazing woman right in front of me" He muttered with a smile.

" You don't call me babe, Mr. Montero" I told him, more like a warning to him.

" And you don't call me Mr. Montero, that's my dad. Call me Alexander, I'll gladly want to hear you call me that, babe." He said

My whole system suddenly got more furious at what I've just heard from him.

" I said don't call me babe. I'm not your baby" I hissed.

I saw a hint of smile flashed in his eyes.

" Then I'd gladly make you my baby now" He said.

I really wanted to shout at this man in front of me.

" E si è difficile da affrontare Mr. Montero (And you are hard to deal with Mr. Montero) " Naasar kong saad sa kanya.

He just answered me with a thunderous laugh before showing two tickets he just hand picked from his pocket.

" A trip to Palawan for the both of us babe. Pack your things, you'll be coming with me" He suddenly said

I made a face.

What in the world is this man planning for.
