Doesn't matter where you go - highschool, college, work - there are always bound to be outcasts. However, there are different kinds of outcasts, and they get along in very... various ways.
There are two main types of outcasts - those, who aren't really that scorned, but have accepted to be ones, so living in a trap of their own feelings. Some, commonly, are the known meaning of outcast - pushed away, misunderstood.
Being an outcast can be difficult to cope with, but everyone must try.
Being an outcast doesn't mean you are alone at all times - there will be people who accept you for who you are and what you like, you just have to search for these people hard enough.
And I have found some people.
*??? POV*
My name is Alexander Hamilton, and I want you to meet my crew! I started off in this college alone, never really standing out from the crowd, but people would dislike be because I was "the Teachers' pet", however, it's not like I chose to be that way! I'll tell you later. I was alone in my college for about 3 months of being an outcast, when by happy coincidence I met people who would forever change my life:~
~Flashback~
I was walking to my lunch table, when suddenly a strong force hit me.
I looked around and I- We were on the ground with a turtle on top of my head.
Well this is weird.
Next to me was a guy, probably my age, with brown, fluffy hair and a freckled face, that looked slightly confused. The other guy got up, and extended a hand, what caused me to think he wanted to help me up, but he just took the turtle. Huh, talk about manners. I snorted and he finally noticed me.
"Oh, hi! I didn't notice you there! What are you doing on the ground?" the new guy asked.
"I dunno, maybe someone could watch where they're running!" I said with a bit of an annoyed tone.
"Wait, you're the person I bumped into?! I'm so sorry, I was running away from my friends because they wanted to steal Tobillo and-"
"Johnny! Where are you?" A voice from across the cafeteria yelled with a thick french accent.
"JOHN GET THE FRICK OUT HERE RIGHT THIS INSTANT!" someone yelled louder than I thought it was possible. People in the lunch hall didn't even pay any attention to this, probably because everyone was loud and used to this behaviour.
John... I guess... hid behind my back, because he was slightly shorter than me, which is unusual. His two friends were nearing the place where me and John were standing, looking for the guy.
They noticed.
"There you are John, mon ami!" The french guy said in a very annoyed tone.
"O-Oh, h-hi, Laf!" John was trembling.
"JOHN DON'T YOU DARE ACT INNOCENT! WE KNOW WHAT YOU DID!" ... too... loud...
"Wh-What do you mean?!" John replied, still clearly nervous.
"Laurens... then, where is my 35th favourite "In The Heights" shirt with the writer's signature?" the taller guy asked with a growl.
"I don't have a clue!" John shouted back.
"Then why did me and Herc find strips of it in your dumb amphibian's tank? That creature doesn't need a soft bedding, it sleeps in its shell! Pourquoi êtes-vous si stupide?!" There was more inaudible French mumbling.
"EXCUSE ME, turtles are reptiles, and they're not dumb! Besides, Lin-Manuel-Miranda is a much better musical! Hmpf!" John stomped around like an angry toddler.
