april, my journey with you was bittersweet.

sweet because you are someone who is so kind and caring, the realest person i've ever met who gave me the rawest of emotions.

bitter because as time went by, your attention turned to her. she became your joy, and i faded into the distance like a mere shadow.

remember about the date you promised we'll go? we never did.

despite everything, i'm still thankful about what i learnt from you, be it about life or about you. while loving you who does not reciprocate, i learnt so much about love itself.

i may still have troubles living without your shadow beside me, but i still want you to know that i did not regret knowing you. i am grateful to meet someone as compassionate as you are; and you are undoubtedly amazing and beautiful just the way you are.

please stay happy and healthy with may, i hope you will receive lots of joy in your life;
and only walk on flower paths till the end of the road.
