C h a p t e r 4

•Gabi POV•

"Gabi I'm sorry I really am" he rubbed my thigh. I almost threw up. I can't do this anymore I deserve someone who treats me right

I got out the car" I meant what i said. We're done" I shut the door and limped all the way to my apartment. I don't know if I should press charges, forget that I am....he needs help. Who the fuck beats on a girl. Well I know one person but that's another story for another day

I unlocked my apartment and set my key on the counter

Gabi got up from the couch and came over to examine my face. "Gianna what the fuck happened to you"

I couldn't hold it in anymore. I broke into tears and told Gabi about everything that happened.

"Gabi what should I do" I cried "he needs help and I don't want them to lock him away he needs to go somewhere where he can be treated because he obviously has mental issues.

She was pacing back and forth"okay I got a plan and this may or may not work but I'm willing to do it if your in"

"Okay what is it"

"So you call him back over here and say that you accept his apology but still say you're apart, you know that you want to break up. The only bad thing about this is that i know he's gonna get angry and hit you again so I'm going to call the police halfway through your convo. And when he hits you they are going to be at the door" she rambled on but I understood exactly what she was saying

Now it was me pacing back and forth. Should I do it, I mean it would be better for him to get the help he needs. I gotta do it, I'm going to do this because I love him. Even though he beat me I know he still loves me and I love him.

"Okay I'll do it" I said assertively

"Gigi are you sure you want to do this it's putting you and danger"

"Yes I'm sure. If I want to get him the help he needs I gotta go through with this"

"Okay call him and I'll wait until he gets here to call the police" she said retreating back to her room

I picked up my phone and called him up he picked up on the first ring

"Gianna I'm so sorry I-I don't know what came over me I'm really sorry I promise that I'll never hurt you again just give me another chance baby i promise" I heard him crying over the line

I knew he was hurt but I hurt 1000 times more. Him hitting me was like reliving my childhood all over again. And I even opened up to him about what my dad used to do to me and he still hit me, even though I knew it was the alcohol it hurt

"Just come over and we can talk it out okay" I said

"Yea yea I'm outside your complex right now I'm on my way up see you and five" and with that he hung up

"Gabi he's gonna be here in five minutes be ready"

I had to mentally prepare myself for what's about to happen. But I didn't really have enough time for that because he was already knocking on the door.

I took my time walking over to the door not ready for whatever is about to happen. I unlocked the lock and opened it to see his smiling face

His arms immediately made their way around my waist "G baby I'm so sorry" his lips connected to my neck as he sucked and kissed it multiple times.

"Stop" I pulled away from him" I meant what I said earlier okay"

He just looked at me and started walking towards me"what did you just say"

I swallowed hard"I said I meant what I said were not together"

He ran towards me and pushed me and I hit the couch. He grabbed ahold of my hair and threw me across the room. I felt his fist connect to my face and I went to the corner to try to escape

"What the fuck Greg" Gabi said coming to my aid

"Move out the way Bitch unless you wanna Taste my fist too" he let out a menacing laugh

Gabi didn't move and soon she was on the floor holding her face crying because he punched her too. He kicked her multiple times and then came and kicked me more. He was about to kick my head when he was taken down onto the floor by a police officer.

He grabbed him and put him in handcuffs"you have the right to remain silent anything you say will and can be held against you in the court of law...." he said walking out the apartment.

"Are you girls okay" asked another officer

"Y-yes were okay" I ran my fingers through my hair

"Can either one of you tell me what happened" he said taking out his notepad

Me and Gabi both looked at eachother" w-well I called him over here because I wanted to end things with him and make sure he got the message... he came and he started kissing on me then I pushed away and he got mad then he punched me and that's when my friend called you and then came to help but she ended up getting hit too"

"I see ma'am i just need to get your info so I can keep you updated on whatever happens next" he said "I'm officer culson by the way here's my card"  he walked towards the door "you ladies rest up now okay.. goodnight"

"Goodnight" Gabi and I said simultaneously as I shut the door and locked it.

I walked over to the couch and laid down."Gabi I honestly don't know what I would do without... I'm so so sorry that he hit you I didn't think he would I wish I wo-"

"Gigi shut up" she laughed cutting me off "you know damn well I would do anything for you your like my sister I would take a bullet for you any day no questions asked"

I got up and hugged her. "I love you boo"

"I love you more" she let go "now lets go take care of our faces okay cause I'm not tryna to look like this for long"
