Nejis POV

“Very funny...” I muttered. I tried to say it louder but I couldn't. I got something stuck in my throat mainly cause TENTEN WAS CUDDLING AGAINST ME AND I HAVE MY ARM AROUND HER! I didn't know what to do so I put my arm around her to let her know Im here for her.

A little later Tenten and I got up and wandered around a little. Tenten was hanging out with Ino and Sakura. I made my way over to talk to Shikamaru when I felt something tug at my shoulder.

“Dude you guys should have made out or something!” Yelled Naruto right in my ear. That boy had no common sense whatsoever. I cant believe Hinata actually liked this goof. Surprisingly (Though not really) Hinata and Kiba where right behind him nodding there heads.

“I don't like the Idea that Tenten and you together. But I can tell it makes you both happy. So I cant help but to agree with Naruto.” Kiba looked away so he wouldn't make Eye contact, but I could tell he was trying to be nice

“Y-y-yeah, I agree with Kiba.” Hinata spoke up. She was good friends with Tenten. I don't like it when Kiba says it, but when Hinata says it I can tell she means it.

“You should just tell her man” Naurto yaps off. “Tell her you like her, And If she rejects you at least she knows how you feel, right?”

“I guess” I agree. Before I could stop myself Im already walking towards Tenten and her group

“Can I talk to you?” I ask, Interrupting there conversation.

“Yeah, Be right back guys” She looked at Ino and Sakura. They both nodded and had there own conversation. We were at a corner of her house where no one was nearby. I took a deep breath.

“Tenten, I need to get something off my chest. I...Love you. More then a friend. Ever since the Gaara rescue mission my feelings for you have grown. Do you....” I took another deep breath before I spoke up “Do you feel the same....If you don't. Thats fine. You know, The best part about love Is, You dont have to be with someone to let them know you love them. Loving Someone is when you'd do anything for them. Even if anything meant that they'd be happy with another person. As long as you're happy, I'm happ-” I was cut off by a touch of Tentens soft lips. She was kissing me. It was like kissing a pillow except the pillow is alive and It was actually Tenten this time.... Don't ask.

Everyone was staring but I didnt care.I put my arms around her back and leaned against the wall. Words couldn't describe how I felt. I felt a sudden coldness when I felt her lips leave mine.

“Neji” she said “Im happy with you, and only you.” She smiled, So did I. 

I never wanted to let go, And so I didn't

Lees POV

Everyone was getting ready to leave the party. I was so shocked that Neji and Tenten could keep such a secret from me! I thought I was special to them! A comrade that they could share secrets with. I guess not Though. It didn't really bother me, cause those two were finally together at least...Ah, The power of youth is so great.

As everyone was leaving, I noticed Neji wasnt leaving.

“Cmon Neji lets go home!”

“Actually Lee Im staying here, Get home safe alright?” Neji said. He didn't even look at me. He was staring at Tenten the whole time like he was talking to her.

“Im gonna get some Ice cream. Bye Lee” She waved me goodbye and motioned for Neji to follow her.

“Yosh! Goodbye” Before I left the door I could hear Neji say 'This onesie doesn't feel cosy anymore, I think Ill take it off' I quickly ran off before I could hear anything un-youthful go on. At that moment, I was so lucky I was fast. I ran right up to Gai senseis house and told him that our secret mission, mission 'make Neji and Tenten' a thing was a complete success! Yosh!
