You had to get away from me
But now that I miss
Every sweet thing you did

So I just let you do what you wanted
I said its okay if you walk away

And it breaks my heart to say tonight

And today
As I stand here in the rain
Watching you walk away
The only thing I said was "goodbye"

But still I want you to turn around

Screaming "Babe, you only heard my goodbye
But you failed to hear my heart
Saying, 'I Lied.' "
