Regret (can be changed)
in which Alex views his life that was lived in regret.
plot!
Alex was shot, but it wasn't suicide.
after being shot, he believes it all to be a dream, but he views his life throughout each chapter, looking at the past, but not the future.
twist/spoiler!
the person who shot Alex was Tyler. in the thirteenth episode, Tyler packs a gun. later, he has pictures of all of the people on the tapes, but takes down the picture of Tyler. perhaps he is taking them all down one by one. before you die, you view your whole life, which is what is happening right now.

how to write?
you can start off the book of when he was shot, but do NOT say who shot him, as it will spoil the ending. you could also start from his childhood and create his backstory on what happened to him, filling in to all the way where he dies. at the end, you could do something where he realizes who shot him and that he is dying
