Adrianna's P.O.V:

After a series of screaming and squealing, I ended up passing out on the bed, happy thoughts bringing up happier dreams, but these were different. I dreamt of..fame? Whoa, whoa, whoa, fame isn't what I want. And for what, even? The book? Pssh.

"ADRIANNA!" I heard that the door, making me jump and fall off of the bed. I sat up, my hair falling into my eyes. "C'mon!" It was Aida, beckoning me to get up.

"What is it.." I asked, sleep voice and all.

"The text? It's Saturday, remember? We're supposed to meet that person to get our book back today!" She said, overly excited.

"Oh!" I said, waking up instantly. "Oh right!" I flapped my arms around, trying to sit up. Aida watched impatiently as I threw on a pair of jeans and a Invader Zim hoodie, then threw a bag over my shoulder. "Let's go!"

"Yay!" She laughed. She then grabbed my arm and tugged me outside to our bikes. She practically threw me on mine.

"Whoa! Calm down!"

"Never!" She hopped on her own, stepped her feet up on the pedals, and rode off. I rolled my eyes, that girl was always so excited for these kinds of things, not like we've ever lost a coauthored book before.

"Wait up!" I stepped up on the pedal and wobbled as I got off to the start. I never was good at sports. Hitting the curb, I bit my lip, trying not to fall off. C'mon, Adrianna, it;s just a bike. It's. Not. That. Hard.

Except it is.

I ran right into a pole as we reached our destination. "Smooth."

"Shuddup." I sat up, rubbing my head. When I stood, I knew where we were. The library near our school where the kids always went for books, because the ones at our own school library were absolutely dirty and dusty.

"A library?" Aida looked confused. I simply shrugged. "Well, let's find out." She held the straps of her backpack, climbing the silver, well, more shiny grey, steps of the library, and I followed behind her.

I whispered near Aida's ear, "Who do you think has it? What if it's a rapist?"

She rolled her eyes. "Shush. It's probably just some girl two grades below us."

I nodded, not exactly believing her, but whatever. If I've learned anything from British TV Shows, it's that you need to just go do things whether they might get you killed or not. Duh.

We looked around the library, not seeing anybody but a boy, who sat by himself, reading out of a journal looking book. "Was this a trap?"

"A trap?" I asked. "No, no, no. This isn't a TV show. I'm sure they might just be late."

Aida focused her attention on the boy. "What about him?"

I shook my head. "Nah." I sighed quietly. "Let's just go sit until they get here."

Aida nodded. So, we went to sit by the bookshelves in the back, on bean bag chairs. I looked down at my Mickey Mouse watch every once in a while, sighing again every time. Where were they? Maybe this was just a trick..

Suddenly, a boy walked up to us, same boy who was in the main room, actually. He looked familiar. "Are you guys Aida and Adrianna?"

I sat up, nearly falling off. "Uh, yeah! Why? Who are you?"

Aida looked at me with a 'calm-the-frick-frack-down' look.

"I'm Brad."

"Haley's boyfriend?" Aida's eyes widened.
