chapter one - the beggining

Start from the beginning

"I said that!" Leila recognize that voice instantly. Melody? It couldn't be. She would never scream at seniors that way. Leila was known to be the sassier friend, along with Castiel. They were always the one's to defend the group when someone tried messing with them – but never Melody. Melody was sweet and innocent, the least corrupted member of the group. So this outburst came as a surprise to many of them.

"What do you want?" Asked the blond with the attitude.

"Stop cutting in line and move the hell back." She replied, anger clear in her voice.

"Who's gonna make me?"

Leila could've sworn she heard a faint growl escape Melody's lips. But no one else seemed to notice.

"I am!" Said Mr. Rodriguez, the Vice Principle.

The seniors all turned around with groans and eye–rolls.

"That . . . or a detention."

And with that, they all moved to the end of the line.

Leila looked at Melody in shock, mouth half open. "I guess you've been rubbing off on me." Is all she says with a quick laugh.

"Yeah . . ." Leila says and manages to close her mouth.

After they sit down and eat their Breakfast, they go to Spill Out.

Behind W.R Thomas there was a fence covered area filled with Black Steel Picnic chairs. Everyone goes out there after breakfast.

As Leila walks out she sees him. Noah Black. She smiled widely, until she saw his arms wrapping around a freshman girl.

Everything goes black, everything except for him.

And her heart stopped.

Lily ♕

She felt like crap. Total complete crap.

She was pale as a ghost yet her temperature was 208. Which scared her and amazed her all at once. 'It makes no sense!' She thought.

She'd been feeling terrible since she woke up, and to her it made no sense because last night she was perfectly fine. She felt a sudden burning in her throat, and she began to sweat profusely.

"Mom!" Lily yelled in panic.

She heard rapid footsteps coming down the hall.

"Mom! Faster!" Lily's mom got to her side with a bucket of water.

She put it on Lily's lap and she chugged it all down in seconds.

Her tongue becomes pointer and she realized it was not working. All morning she'd been somehow breathing fire. And they had figured out that a bucket of ice old water was the only way to keep her from burning the house down.

"Mom!"

Her mother's eyes widened as she noticed Lily's snake–like tongue.

She ran as far from her as possible to the backyard.

She felt, a deep burning in her throat again but felt no pain. A large roar escaped her mouth and the fire seeped through. This time bigger, the flame so got it became blue.

"Oh hell!" Lily's mother shouted in fear. "We need to call the government, the FBI – I don't know! You need help!"

"No!" Lily half said, half roared.

Her mother stepped back, fear in her eyes.

"I'm sorry, but I can't be experimented on! Just . . . wait a few days. Maybe this is some sort of weird faze." Lily explained, doubt and playfulness in her voice.

"This isn't a phase, Lil!"

"Please," Lily begged.

Her mother nodded slowly and reluctantly walks back inside. Lily sighed and followed her mother back inside the house, refilling the bucket.

For the remainder of the day, Lily kept breathing fire and she continued to you herself it was some strange faze.

She could deny it all she wanted, but the truth was; she had been chosen. And once you're chosen, there is no turning back.

Belle

She was terrified. Of what she could do to herself, and to others. She didn't know what was going on with her, all she knew was that it needed to stop.

"Achoo!" Her T.V disappeared, and she groaned in frustration. She was in the middle of watching the latest episode of The Vampire Diaries.

"Achoo!"

Her backpack was now on her bed, in front of her. It had disappeared about an hour earlier.

'Maybe I'm some kind of Supernatural creature.' She thought to herself. 'Maybe I'm a Witch!'

She closed her eyes and attempted to bring her T.V back, testing her powers. The sound of Damon Salvatore's voice made her eyes snap open, and he mouth widen into a face–splitting grin.

"This is amazing." She said to herself, amazed at her powers.

Leila ♕

Her eyes slowly opened and she saw what basically her entire school was surrounding her. She blushed at the attention.

'Did I really black out?'

She stood up and looks around the circle. They were all staring at her as if she were some trained monkey and they were waiting for her to do a special trick. Leila rolled her eyes, and crossed her arms over her chest.

"What do you want?! Never seen anyone faint before!?" She yelled at them. They all immediately broke the circle and returned to their conversations.

"Miss Sean, are you alright?"

Leila turned around and her eyes lock with her Principle, Mr. Rodriguez.

"Yeah, I'm fine," She nodded curtly. Mr. Rodriguez lingered for a second, before giving Leila a once over and then turning and walking away.

She turned back around and there were her friends.

"Are you okay? Why'd you faint?" Asked Samantha.

"I don't know! If I knew I'd tell you." Leila didn't know why she was suddenly so irritated. She just knew that everyone had to stop asking her stupid questions and staring at her like she was insane.

Leila felt a tap on her shoulder. "What?" She asked, now beyond annoyed. She turned around to see a very offended senior, an Office Aid, she guessed.

"You're going home." She said with as much attitude as Leila gave her.

"Thanks,"

Leila gave all of her friends a hugs and walked over to the office where she saw her mom waiting for her.

"Hi," Leila said with a weak smile.

Her mother just put an arm around Leila as they walked to the car silently.

Once they were sat in the car, Leila's mother spoke up.

"Do you know why you fainted?"

"No, not really." Leila said, calmer then she was just a while ago.

"Well, what matters is that you're safe, and you're okay now."

Leila felt as if her mother was hiding something from her. Her mother's smile didn't reach her ears, like it usually did, and it certainly wasn't as bright as every other day. Leila's mother was hiding something, but Leila didn't care in that moment. All she wanted to do was get home, and figure out for herself why she fainted.
