As I was walking to my car I saw Daniel leaning on it. " Wassup with you boy? You had an attitude most the day"
"Nothin" he said again with an attitude and got in the car. I got in and started starring at him. "What is you problem? "
"All of a sudden all you wanna do is be around that nigga. What, you like him or something?" "Even if I do, so the fuck what?" I say in annoyance and serious confusion cause I don't ever start drilling him about the many bitches he slaps through. He looks over at me with a defeated look and just looks away back out the window shaking his head.
"Daniel..."
"I don't care anymore.. ima just go ride with David I'll catch you tomorrow" he said opening the door getting ready to step out, but I pulled his arm back making him sit in the seat. "No, you coming over like we been talked about, stop acting like that and let's go" I say and he sighs stepping back in and putting on his seatbelt.
I had never really seen him act like this toward me. Trying to get him to smile, I tell my blue tooth to play our favorite song, Back Seat by Roddy Rich. When he heard it, he turned his head looking at me in annoyance while Im driving and dancing to the beat. "She want Celineeee she want the Gu-CCI" I start singing catching glimpses at him smiling and shaking his head trying not to look at me. "You better fucking sing!" I scream looking at him making him laugh and we sing the whole way to my house.
"You know you my best friend right? Nobody is ganna take your place" I reassure him before turning the car off. "I know, Im just lookin out for you kid".
"I know. Ima be okay you I can handle myself, ima big girl" I said to him smiling and getting a smile back before we went inside. I was laying on my bean bag scrolling on IG when I went to my messages and saw I had a message in unknown senders. I looked and saw it was an attachment, clicking it and seeing Keith and the baby doll.
"You aint even try to check in on yo kid, you aint shit" said the message under it making me chuckle and sit up a little bit. One second I had my phone and the next second Dan had it trying to read it. "This why you over there giggling and shit" he says putting his hand up so I can't reach.
"Give me my phone what the fuckkk" I say trying to reach up and climb him to grab it back. Finally after wrestling with him for like 2 minutes I grab it back and he pushes me a little.
" Your so annoying"
" Yeah yeah you love me though" he said shrugging at me. He was right about that. He went back to his laptop sitting at my desk because he knew better than to sit on my bed in his outside clothes. I clicked the message and replied to Keith
"How was I gonna check on my kid when you was the one with my number? lmaooo make it make sense"- Me
"Yeah I know, I just wanted a reason to text you"-Keith
Ofc I was sitting there blushing like an idiot when I saw Aliyah Facetiming me. Didn't I say she was ganna call me? Soo predictable this girl I swear. "Bitch don't even start" I say as soon as I answer smiling at her through the phone. "Im so glad you already know what Im about to fuckin sayyyyy" she says with a big ass smile on her face. "I already know what's about to happen with you and him Im calling it"
"Bro chill" I say laughing. "We basically just met Im not gonna get my hopes up" I head Daniel mumble something behind me but I couldn't really make it out, all I heard was 'again' so I threw a paper ball at him thinking he was talking shit.
"Aria hurry up so we can go babe" my mom said from her room. It was Saturday so we were headed to the dance school. I finished getting ready and grabbing my stuff, then we got in her car and left.
"Hey Ma"I heard Amber say behind me talking to my mom as her and Aliyah walked in and hugged her. "Ari you know your boyfriend here?" Amber said smirking at me. "Who's my boyfriend?"
"Yeah who's her boyfriend?" my mom said tryna be nosey. "Ma you didn't know Ari and Keith all budy budy now? Even taking care of a fake baby together" Liyah says stuffing her mouth and looking at my mom with a semi serious face making Amber laugh. "Keith huh?" my mom says looking at me with soft eyes. "Okay"
I ignore them and walk out of the studio room to see him in the front sitting with Justin and Aunty Tango. As I approached them I started to get butterflies in my stomach
"Hey ugly" I say to Jacob hugging him and taking some of my aunts chips while she talked to Justin then sat next to Keith
"Why are you here without my child" I say smiling at him putting a chip in my mouth
"Don't worry" he says smiling and taking one of the chips out of my hand "Sky is at home taking good care of her" We finished talking and him and Jus left to got to football practice. Even though he goes to my school, he plays for Justin and Jakes school football team because we didn't have one, and the coach liked him so they made an exception.
"You've gotten pretty close to Keith I see" my mom says smiling as I walk back into the room
"Yeah he's cute or whatever" I say rolling my eyes playfully . "Well just make sure you stay focused" "Yes mama dukes, I know". She kissed my head and pushes me to the middle of the room in front of the mirror" "Alright let's start this combination"
When I got home I showered and put on some yoga pants and a big t-shirt. As I turned on the TV and got my text book and laptop, my phone started ringing. "Hello?"
"Wassup beautiful"I hear Keith say automatically making my cheeks tingle
"Watchu want" I say taking the phone off my face a little to hide the fact that I was blushing. He was used to my playful rudeness by now, he understood that it was my way of flirting back.
"Put your face back in the camera, that's what I want" I follow his instructions and look at him to find him starring at me through the phone making me shake my head and focus on my computer.
"Can I take you somewhere?"
"Idk, depends on where idk you like that you could be tryna kill me" I say sarcastically . "Well I guess you got have to just let me kill you then ma, send your address and get ready ill be there soon" he says and hangs up not even giving me the opportunity to say no. I couldn't deny the fact that I was turned on by the way he told me what do, and the fact that felt like I had to listen so I got my ass up and looked for something to put on.
