Why do I bother trying to write?

Why write poetry at all?
Poetry is about emotions
Writing is an outlet
You'd be surprised by
what writing can accomplish
I have now come to realize
that it doesn't matter whether
I am good or bad
What matters is whether
I feel it or not!
