CHAPTER 2

" Hey Iris!" Someone called from behind as soon as I entered the school . "Hi Emma!" I greeted her. "Hey are you alright? You look tensed" asked Emma. "No, nothing like that. Just had a weird dream... I was just thinking about it" I said . we had history class till noon . we both sat near the window . The class started.  It was too boring ! The teacher was teaching about Nepolean's water Loo war . I had already read about it . I started thinking about the dream ... Recollecting everything was a bit difficult . I had already forgotten most of it ! "Well, that again proves it was just a dream" I told myself and smiled at myself . But I kept thinking about the dream . suddenly I realised that I never had friends in real life named Lisa or Peter or the others I called out for in the dream. Phycology says that ' A person dreams only about what he already knows ( at least the subconscious mind if not the conscious one) ' . After a while I decided to chuck it . Just then something moved near the window.  I tried to see what it was . Through the trees I could see a man coming out.  "Hey there!" he said in the same cold voice as in the dream . I was shocked ! It was the same handsome face I had seen in my dreams !!! "You are just like your twin! Beautiful and brave" he said.  I was soo confused! I blinked my eyes to clear off the confusion but as soon as I opened my eyes he wasn't there ." Damn! I must have imagined him!" I told myself.  I turned to Emma and asked her if she heard someone talking in order to make sure it was just my imagination . "Yes Iris ! The teacher is blabbering the same shit over and over again ! Please tell him to stop ! " she said sleepily . I just laughed and turned to the window to see if he was still there . Nope! He wasn't .As expected . Finally the 'End of class' bell rang and we went out of the class room . "Hey! How are you soo awake ???" Asked the sleepy Emma . "Because I never listened to the class" I replied laughing . "Good idea. I will try that from next time . come lets go to the bathroom ,I want to wash my face" she said . So we went to the bathroom . She went into the cubicle and I was standing in front of the mirror looking at my pitch black eyeballs and  my tanned face . suddenly my reflection's eyes colour changed to seaweed green  colour! "Help me my twin Please!!" My reflection pleaded . I was shocked ! How can a reflection talk ? How can its eye colour change ? "Help us please!" It said again just then Emma came out of the cubicle. "Hey are you alright ? You look terrified!" She asked worried about me . "No nothing much. I am just horrified by seeing how much I have put on weight!" I lied. Because I knew the truth would make her worried and make me look like an idiot."You sure have! I should tell your mom to reduce your food " she said laughing . "okay , come on lets go have lunch before its empty. I don't want my Iris to lose weight!" She said . I laughed. I just looked at my reflection for one last time to make sure my good old black eyes were there. I looked like myself so went went out .
