The Crimson Fox and Black Raven (narufemsasu)

Chapter I

All seemed right with our blonde hero, Uzumaki Naruto. The war was over. He was chosen to be the next hokage. And most importantly, brought his best friend, now lover, back to Konoha.

*FLASHBACK*
Naruto and Satsuki stared at eachother, both beaten and battered after their battle.

'Damn, even all scratched up, he/she still looks attractive,' both of the 17 year olds thought.

Naruto still obviously had his spiky blonde hair and natural tan skin. At 5'8 and having an impressive build, he was what most women called 'hot'. And Satsuki also had her pale skin and long, ebony hair. She was 5'5.

Satsuki stood up and sprinted at Naruto, pinning him underneath,"Why do you insist bringing me back there?!" Satsuki yelled.

Naruto was expecting this. At this point he just wanted to confess his love to her. So he did exactly that.

"Because, Satsuki, I'm in love with you. No one asked me to go on this mission. I came here with no one knowing. So I'm asking you one more time, will you please come back to Konoha?" He pleaded.

Satsuki's mind was doing backflips at this moment. The man she had known for years, and loved, actually felt the same as her. Then the black haired kunoichi did something no one would expect, she kissed Naruto.

Naruto, surprised at first, also kissed back. Neither of them wanted it to stop. But of course, they both needed air.

"Satsuki, I know what you're thinking, but I promise, if anyone tries to hurt you because of you being with me, I'll protect you."

*END OF FLASHBACK*
So here he was in front of the village gates, holding Satsuki's hand. Both of them walked through the streets leading up to Naruto's apartment. On the way the two lovers heard a civilian whisper to another saying,"Looks like the demon found himself a lover, tch, never would have thought the last of the Uchiha clan being a demon lover."

Naruto found himself frowning and Satsuki giving that villager high levels of KI/killer intent. "Satsuki-chan, it's fine, really," Naruto reassured her.

"Whatever idiot," Satsuki playfully replied.

Naruto smiled but that villager's words really got to him. Though it honestly didn't surprise him. It's been happening for as long as he can remember. He was the jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi no Kitsune. The same fox demon that attacked Konoha 17 years ago on October 10th. The day he was born. The day the Kyuubi was sealed inside of him. Many lives were lost that day, including the beloved Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, and his wife Kushina Uzumaki. His parents, though no one knew at the time. So the villagers and even some of the ninja took their anger out on him by either ignoring him or beating him senseless. Even though some villagers got over it, he never got so much as a thank you for the countless times he saved the village, including the most recent, winning the Fourth Great Shinobi War against Madara and Obito Uchiha, the man who took control of the Nine Tails and killed his parents. It seemed that the other four great shinobi villages thanked him, but not ONE single person , save for his friends, from his birthplace said 'thank you Naruto, you really saved our asses!'

When the two got to his apartment, Naruto gave his keys to Satsuki since he had to tell the hokage he went on the mission when she specifically told him not to.

"WHAT THE HELL WAS GOING ON IN YOUR HEAD WHEN YOU WENT ON THAT MISSION WHEN I GAVE YOU DIRECT ORDERS NOT TO!" Yelled Tsunade, the Fifth Hokage. She was 55 years old but didn't look a day over 31.

"But Baa-chan-"

"Don't 'Baa-chan' me Naruto, you knew you weren't supposed to go!" Tsunade yelled as she cut him off. She sighed. "Look Naruto, I know you both love each other. You both saved us in the war, but that doesn't give you any kind of special permission. Do you understand?"

"Yes, yes I do," Naruto quietly replied on the verge of tears.

"I've made a mistake," Tsunade said as she started to chug her bottle of sake.

"What do you mean?" Naruto questions, now wiping away his years.
