"All I know is a simple name, but your eyes look like coming home"

New York, March 27th 2015
11:50 p.m.
That girl was drinking her vodka+coke mix for the 3rd time. She wasn't bothered by the loud music or the crazy dancers in that night club. Instead, she chose to sat in the corner, alone, only minding her own thoughts.
She was so focused on her afterthoughts, that she didn't spot a young man staring at her thoroughly while pretending to ordered a drink in the bar.
The young man watched as the girl ran her fingers inside her laptop-sized blue bag and pulled out a box of cake.
A cupcake. Wrapped inside a red paper with a white frosting and a C letter on top. The girl then took a small candle from her bag, lit it up with her matches, and stick it on top of the cupcake. In front of the C letter.
That young man was curious. What is she doing? He kept looking when the girl checked her watch on her righg wrist and smiled faintly. She looked at the cupcake in front of her and closed her eyes for a minute, her mouth muttering something. Then, she opened her eyes and cupped her hands around the cupcake while leaning her body and whispering, she blew the candle slowly until it died out.
The girl closed her eyes again for a split second and her little smile had vanished when she opened it. She drank her vodka nonchalantly and shoved the cupcake away. Not intended to eat it.
Seeing what the girl did, the man looked at his watch too, mimicked what she was doing earlier.
12:03 p.m. Was there anything special?
Then, the guy startled and slowly the comprehension entered his mind. Today was the beginning of March 28th, and by how the girl blew the candle, it was certain that..
The girl is celebrating her birthday.
Without further due, the young man got up from his chair and walked towards the girl. I'm in a mission, he whispered to himself. I have to stay focus. While walking, he reached in his jacket pocked and pulled out a letter. He played with it in his hands while coming closer to the girl.
Now, she's in front of him.
The girl who he thought did not aware of his presence because her eyes were closed, suddenly she opened it and frowned at him.
When he finally able to see her face clearly, he gasped. Ah, he muttered. Master didn't say that I have to meet that girl. The girl who appalled the entire America. The mysterious assassin. But, is she really that girl?
The girl seemed younger than him, maybe a year or 2 younger, seeing the fact that he was only 18. And, oh my god. Her aura is unbelievable.
The girl in front him had blonde hair. No, not a dyed blonde. But, a truly golden blonde, which shimmered in the dim of the disco lights. Her skin was naturally tan, and her lips were rosy, like pink petal, almost red. Her face looked like a mix of Asian and Caucasian, even though, the Asian looked more dominant. Most people would think that she was Chinese descent, or Japanese, or Korean. But, no. She had no monolid eyes, nor porcelain pale skin. She came from another part of Asia. South-East perhaps.
When the young man looked at the girl's eyes, he surprised. Yes, this is the right girl. His statement supported by the girl's most famous signature. Her heterochromia iridum eyes. Light brown eye on the right, and stand-out blue eye on the left. 2 different eye colours.
"Corona Beauregard," he said. "Nice to finally meeting you".
The girl stared at the stranger curiously. Was he a demigod? He was good looking, with prominent cheek-bone and strong jawline. His indigo blue eyes seemed to absorb light. That dirty blonde hair of his completed his feature. She heard a slight british accent in his voice. Even though, the stranger was gorgeous, she did not answered him. The man understand the girl's cold stare and continued,
"I'm Roland. And I have a message for you," the man gave the letter on his hand to the girl. The girl stayed silent, looked totally uninterested to find out. The man smirked for a split second, awe by the girl's ignorantcy. This is a new thing for him, usually most of the girls threw themselves to him without he even had to asked.
"From Master" he added. This time, his words successfully drew the girl's attention. For a moment, her brown-blue eyes widen in shock, but it vanished as fast as it came. The girl put her nonchalant look back.
"Put that envelope on the table, and you may go" her voice sounded like warm sea waves in the summer. Melodic, yet firm. Roland first thought English wasn't her first language, but her accent and pronunciation was perfect. Sounded like a true American.
Roland smirked and put the envelope on the table. Right in front of the cupcake. He had turned around to leave, but he remembered a thing, and focusing his face back to the girl.
"By the way, Miss Beauregard, Happy Birthday,"
Roland gave a simple smile before he walked away. The girl watched the man until he truly gone, then whispered, "Thank you".
Corona Beauregard then switched her focus to the white envelope on the table. She was surprised when hearing the word "Master". It's been 11 months since the last time she met her master. 11 months since her Master mysteriously disappeared and she obliged to survived by her own. 11 months, a long enough period for her to became one of the most deadliest and feared assassin.
She hesitated for a moment. Should I open it? What if this was just a trick? But she soon realized that not many people understand the word "Master". Only his subs and most trusted people. As his ex-trustee, Corona knew one way to make sure that this envelope is truly from her Master. A secret code.
She took her match, lit it up, and drew the envelope towards it, not so close that the fire will burn the envelope, just close enough so it can create shadows.
There, she muttered. On the top right corner, appeared a shadow of 2 small alphabets. QL.
Now, her heart beating so fast. It is from him. Corona opened the envelope impatiently and found a small paper with just 2 sentences.
Up as usual. Now.
Corona drew her breath.
She hurriedly packed her stuff and put some money on the table. When she was about to go, she looked at the cupcake that had not been eaten. She smiled sadly. See you next year, red velvet, assuming that we will ever meet again, she whispered.
Then, she left, abandon the cupcake with a letter C on it.
