i'm glad you wrote back! you would never believe how much i needed to see your handwriting (as sloppy as it is). i've been so overworked with pilot training that i can barely keep my eyes open during the day.
oh yeah! i forgot to tell you that i'm a pilot! (now that the cat's out of the bag :) )
who knows, maybe someday i can take you flying!
i met a really great lad here named niall. he's from ireland and he's a hyper guy but he never fails to lift my spirits.
things are getting kinda dark here (figuratively and literally). less and less soldiers are coming home. hopefully things will turn around and we can begin to win this dreadful war.
