Nandini...

.....I rub my eyes yawning, then I walk and look through the window. The dark night. The clock showed eleven thirty pm

Waw. I most have been mentally and physically exhausted. ,

I stood there leaning at the curtains wondering what would it be like out there into woods? What would it like to run away,

I'm no longer a child and no matter the situation they should have let me decide, I wish to see the world, wish to explore and experience new things specially in things that has to do with me.

Shrugging that thought as I always do I tried to fall back to sleep but  tonight it seemed impossible as the usual noise was way too close this time. Too close that it seems the noise's coming from the house so I put on my thick sweat pant and made way to the kitchen because my stomach was growling.

Just when I was about to open the tap water I heard the noises outside, different from the one I always heard at night which is the sound of trees, and chirping of birds.

I thought because we live near by forest it's normal so I ignore the noise and open the fridge. When a note by the door caught my attention. I took slow steps to reach there and unfold it to my surprise there was a message

Meet me in the silence.

I'll be waiting beautiful.

A mysterious request! I sighed and smiled reading the lines, it was from the man I always see cutting wood down the forest, I jumped in excitement.

As I stepped out of the mansion heading to The woods, the father I walked the more excited I got.

Excitedly and Curiously I kept going scanning the area for more notes but sadly none was there, I sighed in disappointment and sat down on a stone in the middle of the forest.. folks of birds flew scattering leaves 🍃 all over me, I look up searching for any falling smoothie there I saw another note 📝

Anxiously I unfold it to discover the next clue

"Keep walking till you reach the river"

I happily did as instructed, after some time of walking I crossed the river and froze on my legs.

"You made it, I didn't think you would."

Freak: not what I was expecting,

The forest is large and the woods are many but in all the previous nights I had seen only one person so where's this Uncle Man coming from. Disappointedly I turned to leave.

"I'm glad you came" he said walking towards me.

"Umm, yea.. I though..you; you were.." I stammer speechless. "Why I'm I here" I ask.

What was I supposed to do!

He smiled and frown "I just wanted to know you, since you come to woods every night.
