Once Bitten, Twice Shy
When hurt attacks, feelings does fly,
The one I loved turned out to be so sly,
The truth makes my heart and soul cry.Naive, Foolish and terribly dumb I was,
Loving him blindly was an act of crass,
The heart I believed to be gold was just brass,
Now I feel as crushed as brutally stepped upon grass.A novel experience it had been,
Revealing something from deep within,
A part of me which I had never seen,
Fighting back like a mighty queen.I roared like a lioness and strongly yelled,
Brushing away the love that I once held,
Throwing him away from where he dwelled,
Freeing myself from the magic he spelled.Awwthentic~
