Christmas was an absolutely joyous time for Mary Eunice. She had the Monsignor completely fooled. He praised her for her innovative ideas and even said she was superior to Jude. Oh the joy those words brought her! After spending so much time behind Jude's shadows she finally got some credit for her actions. When Arden voiced his suspicions about Frank, saying that he was being weak, that he wanted to call the police and expose everything, she knew what she had to do.

She formulated a plan to both get rid of that stubborn officer before he caused any trouble and to make sure this Christmas would be an absolute disaster, the worse the institution had seen in years. The first step was getting Lee Emerson into a Santa Claus suit.

Lana decided she had to find a way to get her and kit out of there as soon as possible. She escaped the medical ward, quite easily after escaping the secret lair of a murderous maniac, and went into the dark halls of the asylum in the search of a phone. She expected no one would come looking for her because she was supposed to be in the medical ward. Besides, everyone was preoccupied with the Christmas celebrations. She did find one, in a small room that seemed to be an old office or something. She closed the door behind her and walked towards the phone, really hoping it worked. Then, she realized someone was already there.
