The noise.
It seemed endless, the sound of sirens, the roar of different news vans coming in, and the yelling of the crowd. It only fueled the raging fire of fury hidden within the Dark Night.
It was only 3 days ago a government facility of the Guys in White or GIW came to the outskits of Gotham. There were several rumors about a supposed weapon they were working on. This, of course, peaked Batman's interest so he did some digging on what exactly the GIW was. But he was never expecting their so called 'weapon' to be an eight-year-old child. He immediately took his new discovery and had the GIW be charged with several offenses.
Now he was watching as agents of the GIW were being dragged away from the facility. This was only the least of his concerns, the biggest one being the kid that was still in the cell they were holding him in. If anyone tried going in they would be met with a number of powerful blasts. He was terrified no doubt about that, and who could blame him?
"I'm going in" Batman announced
"Be careful Batman, we have no idea what we're dealing with" Gordon responded
The Caped Crusader gave him a sharp look before adding "We're dealing with a scared kid" ,before anymore could reply Batman was already heading inside the building.

AN: Hey! So this is my first story... I plan on this being a Humor/Family type of thing mainly being about the Bat-family (w/ Dick, Jason, Tim, Damian, Cassie, and Stephany) and some some Justice League stuff here and there. And I must just throw in some Angst/Comort cus I can. If I make any mistakes about the DC universe/comics etc. Let me know and feel free to make suggestions on what I should do in future chapters I'll probably use them or twist them a bit. This is also heavily inspired by a fanfic called 'The Abused' so check it out if you want to know what you're getting into!
Bye~
