Aubrey's voice floated off as the song ended, it was honestly amazing.
"What do you think?"
"I love it! Your voice sounds so great."
"You should, it's about you haaa, but thanks."
About me? Holy shit I've never had anything written for me or about me.
"Aubrey, we need to talk," I cleared my throat, that came out more harsh than it was suppose to.
"Yea we do."
We pulled into his driveway, his mom wasn't home. This could be a good or bad thing. I sighed as I got out of his Acura.
He unlocked the front door, turned some lights on and went straight to the kitchen.
"You want anything?" he reached into the fridge
"No, I'm good."
I made my way down to his room, noticing all the pictures his mom has put on the walls. He is defiantly a mamas boy.
"So obviously we both have feelings for each other," he sat down on the edge of his bed
"Well yea," I sat down next to him
"I want us to be together but you don't want the same thing, so I need you to tell me wassup cause I can't just be friends with you."
I took what he just said in, if he only knew.
"Aubrey I would love to be your girlfriend but things are just so messed up, I don't want to get hurt again."
"You think I would hurt you Lei?"
"You hurt Jade.." I said lowly
"You don't even know half of the story so don't assume shit."
"I'm not, but what do I look like dating my best friends ex?"
"You tell me, you shouldn't care about what people think!" He rose his voice
"I'm going to need you to take it down a notch Aubrey, talking to me like a damn child!"
"You're acting like one right now Leilani!" He stood up
"Fuck you Aubrey!" I got up and pushed him
He didn't even budge.
"You're adorable when you're mad," he chuckled
"Get the fuck out of my face," I attempted to storm off but he grabbed my arm.
"Baby, I'm here" he pulled me closer as he sang to me

Tears filled the rims of my my eyes, his voice just does unexplainable things to me.
"Why do you have to be so perfect?" I looked up into his eyes
"I'm the furthest thing from perfect. But you, babygirl, are perfect."
"Don't get all soft on me Aubrey," I rolled by eyes
He chuckled and kissed my forehead.
"AUBREY? ARE YOU HOME?" I heard his mothers footsteps come down the stairs
"Yea I am!" he finally released me from the hug
"What are you-, oh hello Leilani!"
"Hi," I smiled and waved
"Was today a half day or something?"
"Nah, but mom I gotta tell you something."

DRAKE-
"What's wrong?" she sat down on the couch, diagonal to my bed
"Today was my last day at school."
"Aubrey what are you talking about?" Leilani said lowly
"Is there something I don't know?" my mom asked "did you get expelled?"
"No, I'm dropping out."
Silence filled the air but I'm glad I got that off of my chest. I've been planning this for a while and I finally went through with it. I always knew school wasn't for me, I have this music to focus on, I'm trying to make it.
"I'll uh be right back," Leilani got up and went upstairs
"Are you sure you want to do this? I can put you in private school."
"Nah, mom I'm done with it all, theres so many things I want to work on and school isn't one of them."
"Well, your mind is set, even though I don't agree I'll try my best to move past this."
"Ok, thanks."
Damn, she took that a lot lighter than I thought.
"Please tell me Leilani is not also dropping out."
"Uh no, she's not."
"Good, I'm gonna go for a walk," she stood up
"It's like 20 degrees outside ma."
"I'll be fine," she walked out of the room
I went to my stereo and turned on a beat.
I need to vent.
"Aubrey are you being serious?" Leilani approached me
"Yea."
"Wow," she sighed "what are you going to do then?"
"Work on this music, I need to get some stuff sent off to Jay-Z."
"You know Jay-Z?!" she got excited
"Not exactly but my main producer knows some people."
"That's so great, I'm excited for you!"
"Yea I'm hyped but lets finish our talk."
"Lets talk about it over dinner, I'm starving," she rubbed her stomach
By the end of the night, she'll be mine~
