"Sorry, what?" I question confused.
"I was planning on pulling a prank on the teacher but you beat me to it." She answered.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know." I replied sheepishly.
"Don't be it was better than what I had in store. So do you want to be partners?" She asked.
This is going to be a long four years, might as well not do it alone. So with that I answered, "I would be honored."
She came to me and stuck out her hand, "Demi. Demi Taylor and you are?"
"Sky. Sky Crystal" we shook hands.
"Do you still have more of that glue?" Demi asked.
"Yeah. Why?"
"Can I borrow some?" She asked.
"Sure." I handed her the bottle. We made our way out the classroom and after I closed the door behind me she poured the glue in the keyhole. We high fived each other and went to get ready for school.
Later on we found out we are in the same classes together and when we went to Henley and we saw her battle we burst out laughing. She spotted us and then sent us to the principal's office and we can say the rest is all history.
"Sky." Demi brought me back from my thoughts.
"Almost just a few small things here and there, why?" I asked.
"Principle Fawcett wants to see us and I want to know if we can sill hang out before we leave?" She answered.
"Oh okay. And of course I will finish packing when we get back." I said as I got off my bed and walked towards her.
We left my room and I closed my door behind me and we made our way down the halls to Fawcett's office. As I walked down the hallways I remember all the fun times and the not so fun times but they were all pretty good memories like all our pranks and then all our punishments. The pranks being the fun times and the punishments, not so much.
We were almost at Fawcett's office when we stopped by the showcases that has all the schools achievements. Demi and I held quite a few of them. Demi was the athletics captain and also hockey captain, she not only won a few awards in those sports but also holds numerous awards for singing. I was swimming captain and soccer captain and also have a few awards but the ones that I worked hardest for was for my drama awards, they were my pride and joy. With one more glance to the showcase, we carried on walking to Fawcett.
When we arrived at Fawcett's office we knocked and waited for her to answer.
"Come in." She yelled.
"Good day ma'am." We greeted in unison once inside.
"Ahh, just the ladies I was looking for. Please have a seat." She replied.
There was a moment of silence in the room until Fawcett spoke up. "Look ladies I am going to be 100% honest with you, I am going to miss you two trouble makers horribly."
I was gob smacked and when I looked over to Demi she held the same expression.
Fawcett laughed at our facial expressions and then continued to explain herself, "You see, you two young ladies are one of my finest students. You act like ladies but you know you are so much more. From the first time you walked into my office and saw you two I saw so much potential. You both believed you deserve respect and when you did not get it you demanded it. Almost every day for the past four years I have had to see you. And every time I did you were always smiling, I know you have had your rough patches and all, but you are absolutely an inspiration to all the young ladies we teach here and that is why we made you girls apart of the student council, because all the girls here look up to you. I never thought it was going to be hard saying good bye to you two but it is." She had tears in her eyes. "You two have to promise to come visit now and again."
