"Are you going to bring a poster?" Chloe said jokingly. Today was the day of the water polo game. Chloe and I were getting ready for school and packing snacks for the water polo game.

"Oh gosh, Chloe! I would like to keep some dignitary the rest of the school year!" One day in PE of my freshmen year, some cheerleader took my regular school clothes. Chloe let me wear an oversized sweatshirt that day that was longer than my knees to cover up for the rest of the day so I didn't have to hide under the PE loner clothing...I really owed her big time.

"I hope they win..." I mutter under my breath. It's still the first week of school, but some girls are already in sweatpants, oversized sweatshirt, and messy buns.

"What dress are you going to wear today?" Chloe asked. I want to wear a dress every day the first week of school just to add a bit more jazz to my normal routine.

"I'm not sure, how about... "
I had already taken a bath and was ready to do my makeup and hair. After about an hour, Chloe and I were ready for school. With my purse in hand and an extra bag for the game emergency, I grabbed the keys to the Ferrari and drove to school.

"Ohh you guys are making chocolate strawberries? You guys are so cute!" Chloe was about to explode. There were a few guys checking out my car. I didn't understand them, it was just a car.

We spotted Thomas in the same place we saw him on the first day of school. He saw our extra bags and gave an inquisitive face.

"Are you guys going to watch the game today?" He asked.

"We're planning to, so don't mess up!" Chloe said with a wink. Thomas blushed.

"This is going to be a fun game, the first one this year. We have had practice already, and I think we're ready. Eric seems pretty stressed out though. I'm worried about him."

That sparked my attention. Eric? Stressed? Oh no. I had been looking forward to our date this entire week and I couldn't wait until tomorrow. But if he backs out because he is 'Stressed'? Nope. Time to pull some magic.

"That's not good. I hope the team is supporting him." I said. I couldn't exactly say, 'No, not my Eric!' Out loud.

"I think so. However, you have to believe in yourself before others can believe in you." Thomas started looking off into the distance but came back in seconds.

Chloe briefly glanced at her watch. "It's time for us to head to Chemistry. See you at the game, good luck." Chloe said as she started walking off with a wave. I quickly walked after her before I got dragged behind.

"Good luck at the game today," I said to Eric as I got my stuff from my backpack. We got out the 3 truths 1 lie paper.

"Alright, turn the papers in and we will pick a few. They should all remain anonymous."

The class passed their papers. Once all of the papers were gathered, the teacher picked one.
1. I have glasses
2. I like peanut butter
3. I take Foods
4. I have been in ballet

Great, of course, mine is first. Now everyone was going to make fun of me.

I saw Eric raise his hand, "Is it number 2?"

The teacher flipped the paper over. "Yes, it is."

Eric leaned into my ear and whispered: "It bet you look pretty cute in glasses." I blushed. How was his heart not pounding out of his chest?

The teacher reached for another paper for the class to guess.

"1. I have a hot best friend
2. I'm friends with someone on the water polo team
3. I love to swim
4. I hate shopping"
