Astrid POV:
I woke up to my alarm blaring music and my mom yelling "Honey! Breakfast is ready! Don't want to be late for your first day at your new school!" So I got up out of bed and as I walked downstairs to eat I heard my dad saying "You'll be fine! You'll make lots of friends easily!" I decided to eat quickly so I could avoid more talking about my first day and figure out what to wear. After putting on clothes and braiding my hair, I ran downstairs saying bye to my parents and hopping into my car.
As I was walking up to Berk Hill High I was thinking about how it's my first day of school. It's my senior year, and unfortunately I had just moved here to Berk from Texas. My parents had told me on the plane ride that we had lived here when I was a baby and moved to Texas when I was about 5, so I actually don't really remember anything. Oh yeah! My name's Anna 'Astrid' Hofferson. Most people call me Astrid though!
As I walked into school I guess I was looking pretty confused about where I should go because as I stood in the entrance of the school a girl with black hair walked up to me. "Hey, are you new here?" Asked the girl, and I said "yeah, I have my schedule but I'm not sure where my classes are." I handed the girl my schedule and she looked at it and said excitedly "we have the same classes! Come with me! Oh by the way my name is Heather!" "Oh cool, my name is Anna, but you can call me Astrid!" I said following her.

After she was finished explaining the different hallways, the bell rung so we headed to our first class. "Come with me, I want you to meet my friends." Said heather, as she grabbed my hand, dragging me towards her friends at the front of class. "Hey guys, this is Astrid! She just moved here!" "Hi Astrid!" Said the group. "These are my friends, Ruffnut, Tuffnut, their twins. This is Fishlegs and Snotlout and Hiccup, their cousins." Heather said as she sat down. I sit down next to Hiccup and say "My name is actually Anna but you guys can call me Astrid!"
Hiccup POV:
After getting to school the bell rung and I was the first person in class. After picking my seat the group came in sitting down next to me. After seeing who i'm classes with I saw Heather come in with a blonde hair girl. Heather ran up to us saying "Hey guys! This is Astrid! She just moved here!" And continued to say who each of us were. As Astrid sat down next to me I was staring at her like I knew her from somewhere, so I decided to speak up. "Nice to meet ya! So where are you from?" I said while still looking at her. Astrid, who looks a little bit nervous says "I'm from Texas but I originally lived here till I was 5!" As i'm getting ready to ask her another question I was interrupted by the bell and the teacher walked in saying "Whose ready for their first day of senior year?" So I just faced forward, pretending to listen to the teacher, but hoping that I would get to talk to her.
After going through the whole saying your name and what extracurricular you do, class finally was over and I was thinking 'finally! now I can talk to her!' I went out to the hall, saw Astrid walking away and called out to her "Hey Astrid! Wait up!" I caught up to her and started to say something to her when a red head girl came running up to me and clung onto me.
