New Neighbour

A/N: Let's pretend Niall doesn't have huge security cameras and gates all around his house lmao :)

You'd just gotten a new neighbour who moved in next to your LA home in the hills and as you do with every new neighbour you get, you like to welcome them. You hadn't even seen the home owner outside yet but you were hoping they were nice because you hate being strangers to your neighbours.

You'd baked a few brownies and cookies and prepared a small house-warming hamper for the person, whether they be male or female. From what you gathered, there was only one person living there but you weren't sure so you made sure there was enough to cater for everyone and every gender.

You picked up everything you prepared and walked out the front door, locking it behind you. You walked up the footpath (A/N:I think Americans call it sidewalk, not sure lmao) a bit to reach the door, using your spare hand to ring the doorbell, nerves suddenly arising inside you.

Seconds later, the door opens and your eyes go wide eyed at the person standing in front of you. It's Niall freaking Horan. 

"Oh wow, oh my gosh. I-" You stutter.

"Are you a fan?" He says, looking rather annoyed.

"No, no I'm not a fan. Well- I mean, I am but I didn't come here for that-" You say, getting cut off again.

"What're ya here for?" He says, still rather annoyed.

"U-um, I'm your neighbour, to the left. I just came to bring you some treats and a housewarming gift, I don't like to be strangers to my neighbours but I don't think I have much hope with you." You say, nervously laughing.

"Why would you think that?" He says, a confused look on his face.

"U-uh, you just seem to be rather annoyed with me being here but u-um I just came to bring you this stuff, so I'll leave now. Let me know if you need anything around here t-though, I'm always willing to help." You smile, gently shoving the gift onto him as he stumbles back and you try to get away as fast as possible.

As you're about to exit his driveway, you hear him call after you.

"Hey, wait." He says, causing you to turn back around to face him.

"Did you need something?" You nervously ask.

"No, but can you come here for a minute please?" He asks. You walk over to him slowly, curious as to what he'll say or do.

"Um, yes?" 

"U-uh, I just wanted to say thanks for this. I'm glad I found myself in a good neighbourhood. Would you like to come in? We can talk and we can get to know each other a bit better?" He asks.

"U-um, I don't want to intrude." You say.

"It's fine love. Come in." He laughs, opening the door for you.

As soon as you walk in, you're in awe of the interior design even though most of the decor is in boxes. His choice of furniture is really nice and you've already fallen in love with it. He leads you to his couch, telling you to sit before he sits next to you.

"So, what's your name?" He asks.

"Y/N." You say, putting your hand out for him to shake.

"Niall. It's nice to meet you Y/N." He smiles.

"I-I already knew that." You nervously laugh. "But it's nice to meet you too." You smile.

"So I take it you're a somewhat fan?" He asks.

"Um- yeah. Well, I used to be obsessed with you and the 1D boys and I still love you guys but I just didn't expect you to be my new neighbour." You nervously laugh.

A few hours later, you were heading out the door after your long chat with Niall. You never expected to stay that long. Hell, you didn't expect him to be your neighbour but you felt extremely blessed that he wasn't some weirdo that secluded himself from the world.

Towards the end of the night, Niall began to get flirty and by the end of the night, it felt like you'd known each other for years because you were so comfortable, as weird as that may sound.

"So I'll see you soon, love?" Niall asks.

"Of course, thank you for having me over." You smile.

"Anytime love. I'll text you soon and maybe we can go out together sometime?" 

"I'd love that. Thank you." You say.

"I love you baby girl." Niall says as he collapses on top of you on the bed.

"I love you so much Ni. I'm so glad you moved in next to me because now we're here and I'm so grateful for you my love." You say, completely out of breath but trying to get your words out.

It's been just over 2 years since Niall moved in next to you and your relationship grew from the first time you met. You now lived together in his house, and you only had to move your stuff over one house. 

You had been dating for a few months before Niall officially asked you to be his girlfriend, leading you to where you two are now; cuddled up in your bed after an intense love making session.

"I'm so glad I did too." He smiles down at  you. "You're extremely beautiful, you know that?" He asks after a few minutes of silence, causing you to blush.

"You're not too bad yourself." You say, sending him a wink.

"Fuck, you test me baby girl." He says, biting his bottom lip. Within seconds, he attaches his lips to your neck again. "Round 2?"

"Mhm, I think so." You say, moaning in the middle of your sentence.
