Thank you

So sometimes, I wish to tell you something
And boy, your response is always nothing.
Although you know that I know that you see them all,
You just push them aside
And leave me to fall.

So I say what I can in an opportunity
And I start to think
That you were just a dream to me,
But dreams only live when you are sleeping,
And I'll tell you the truth-
Boy you had me believing

That one day, you'd come back to your senses.
And you might
Start talking to me again,
But right now,
I'll keep this undercover,
No I won't say it's true,
But when I say things, you never say
Thank you.

I wonder
If you even read my messages,
When you just keep things to yourself,
And I believe that
Although I wish you well and
Hope that you're okay, and
Just ask of how you're doing, too,
I never seem to get a thank you.

I recall the time that I
Was under the weather,
You didn't seem to contact me,
Or asked if I was better,
But when you're at the hospital,
I didn't seem to care
If you hadn't cared for me at all,
But if you need me, I'll be there.

I check the time and wonder if
You'd show up at the door,
But then the last bell rings,
And I'm worried even more.
The days are passing, one by one,
And you don't respond to the texts,
And strangely, I'm still hoping
That there's a piece of me with you left.

But I can't help but
Think of all our memories,
Of how we used to walk to class.
And all the times that we ignored the world,
As every minute passed.
I wonder what had happened
To what was between us two,
Yet still, everytime I say something,
You never seem to say thank you.

I wonder
If you read my messages,
But you just keep things to yourself,
And what's sadder is the fact that
Although I wish you well and
And ask of how you're doing,
I hope that in your head you do, too, but
I never seem to get a thank you.
