The Thirteen Reasons Why team has launched a contest here on Wattpad's TeenFiction . However, because I am not a resident of The United States Of America or Australia, I'm not eligible to enter my story. I decided to write anyways, but made a few tweaks to it.
This story is semi fiction, not non fiction as given in the competition prompt, and there will be extended chapters for those who want to read on. I've been thinking about a few things very seriously lately, and I think this is the perfect opportunity to put those thoughts out there.
The emotional aspect of this story is non fictional, but the latter events are entirely fictional.
I dedicate this story to my little brother, and all the boys in the world. You all are truly very strong, and although it goes unnoticed as a part of "male personality", I know many of you struggle to keep up with expectations, parent, peer and social pressure. This is to remind you that you don't have to bound yourself all the time. Be true to yourself, and don't be afraid to show emotion - it's what makes us human.
