Start from the beginning

Stepping off the plane, Valentine couldn't help but to still feel the same. She figured from the moment she had met her mother, there would be happiness from then on. Not accusations and hatred. But now she met the real her, Valentine planned to get over that shit. Just like she did everything else. "I don't even know where I'm going." Valentine frowned as she headed inside of the airport. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't help but to feel hurt and upset. Collecting her things from baggage claim, Valentine headed out of the door but just stood there not even remembering the address her grandmother had given her. So she took a seat on the bench and began to look through the papers that was also given to her. Slowly growing frustrated as she couldn't find anything that would give her the address, Valentine broke out into a loud cry. She was never this emotional especially growing up in a foster home. You couldn't be emotional or your life would be a living hell. "Awe what's wrong girl?" This soft voice asked as she stood over Valentine. She was just about to head to her car when she heard Valentine crying her eyes out. It was either Valentine was running from Miami or she was lost. Either way, the girl planned to help Valentine out. Wiping her tears with her sleeve, Valentine looked up at the girl before pouting. "I'm fine, just a little overwhelmed." She lied. And its like the girl knew that because she took a seat right next to Valentine and sat her hands on her own lap. "What? The Miami life is too much for you or its already too much and you're from somewhere else?" The girl asked making Valentine let out a soft sigh. "I can't find my way around this place and the day I've had isn't making it any better for me." She mumbled making the girl look over at her and give her a small smile. "Do you have the address to the place you're going? Cause I have a car and I could take you." The girl suggested making Valentine lip began to quiver as she started to cry again. That was her problem right there. She couldn't find the paper with the address on it. "Awe did I say something wrong? Wait! No tell me." The girl frowned as she placed her hand on Valentine's back. "I- I can't find the paper with the address on it and I'm not trying to go back to New York, I can't." Valentine cried as she  tried wiping her wet face, but the tears kept rolling. "Okay let me see." The girl said grabbing the papers and began to scan over the few papers Valentine held in her hand. Taking no longer than five minutes, she had found the address. "Look, its right here. The address was just at the bottom baby girl. See? You don't have to cry sweetie." She cooed making Valentine nod her head. She never remembered the address being written on the bottom, more like the middle or the top."Thank you." Valentine said with a big smile. The last thing she was trying to do was head back to New York. She wasn't trying to take any chances of running into her mother again. There was no telling what she would do to that lady. "You're welcome. Now do you still need a ride?" The girl asked with the same smile. All the bad she was just doing out in California, she had to come back to do some type of good. Her next stop was Church though. "No, you already helped me enough. Thank you." Valentine smiled standing back up and grabbing her suitcases. "Enough? There's no such thing! Consider me as your first friend in Miami boo! My name is Chachi, call me that. And you're?" She asked with a smile on her face as Valentine noticed her dimples in her cheek. "Valentine."

Arriving to the house, Chachi couldn't help but to smirk. "Ohhh girl you're paid and you don't know your way around Miami?!" She squealed making Valentine laugh and give a slight shrug. "I'm from New York and was never taken anywhere but school, the Bronx zoo and the botanical garden. I haven't even visited the Barclay center." Valentine said making Chachi giggle and shake her head. "Well now you're in Miami and with Chachi, I got you. The pop out this summer is going to be so real that you're going to have to hold onto your wig girl." Chachi bragged making Valentine giggle and nod her head. "I like the sound of that. Thanks again Chachi." Valentine smiled before getting out and grabbing her things from the back. "I gave you my number so call me if you need anything. Okay? Enjoy your new home boo!" Chachi cheered before pulling out the driveway and heading back down the street. Valentine faced the two story charcoal gray stoned house before smiling. "I'm in Miami bitch!" She screamed before running over to the house. The house was still cut and naturally green, Valentine was loving everything about this house. Just to think she was crying her eyes out a hour ago and now she couldn't help but to smile. "Thank you grandma! Wherever you are! Thank you! You answered my prayers!" Valentine shouted before grabbing her keys and going inside. She placed her suitcases by the door before closing and locking it. Walking through the house, Valentine couldn't help but to constantly gasp at the things she seen. Like the living room, the bedroom, the spare rooms that were full of furniture as well, the kitchen and the main bedroom. There was a Apple Mac book pro laying in the middle of the bed, it was slightly opened making Valentine make her way over to the laptop. But the screen was black, so she went back to touring herself around the house. Going to make herself something to eat, there was a letting laying flat on top of the charcoal gray island. Is this for me? Valentine asked herself before picking up the paper and smiled seeing that her name was written at the top. Taking a seat in front of the island Valentine started to read the letter.
