Heart beating faster at the thought of being late to class during exams, I practically sprinted to the examination room's door, regretting my decision to slow down a few minutes ago.

Luckily the invigilator hadn't handed out the papers yet or else I'd be in big shit right now so I hurriedly went to sit down.

I, of course, did notice the fat girl's eyes on me as I went to go sit down at the back but I ignored them, pretending like I didn't see nor feel her looking at me.

She eventually looked infront of her as her examination paper hit her desk and my eyes, almost immediately, darted over to her hunched over back.

Glancing at her one more time before I write, I pushed the thoughts I just had about her to the back of my mind and focused on my exams.

---

An hour and ten minutes later, I was done writing my paper.

Difference is with today, I didn't feel like burying my head in my arms like I normally do.

Immediately after tucking my pen away, my eyes focused in on one person in particular.

Her back was greatly hunched over, blocking her head from view. But I could see her right hand swiftly moving along the white paper on her desk.

It stopped momentarily before gliding over the paper again.

A minute or so later, she sat up and turned over the paper before proceeding with her writing again.

10 minutes later, she packed her papers neatly together and put it down.

I assume she's done.

Instead of doing what everybody else does when they're done writing, which is to place their heads in their arms on the desk, she instead sat back in her chair and put her hands in her pocket, unawaringly mimicking my exact position.

I suddenly had the urge for her to turn around.

I want her eyes to meet with mine again.

As if she heard my thoughts, she did turn around.

My breath got hitched in my throat because I didn't expect her to actually look, right now.

I kept my face blank as I stared back at her. Her eyes fractionally widened for a mere moment before she turned around.

She probably didn't expect to meet my eyes so quickly.

Which led me to wonder. Has she always just stared at me when I'm not looking?

I mean I know I'm a pretty good looking guy, but it's not often you find a girl that randomly and blatantly stares at you.

In my school, girls here don't do that. Even when they see a guy that is "hot" as they like putting it, they normally just admire the guy for a mere second before the guy can even notice that they  (the girls) were staring at him.

But she.

She blantantly steals glances at me.

She must be attracted to me. I don't blame her though, I am pretty good looking and I know it.

What intrigues me the most is that she's older than me. Alas, only one year older than me, but still. She's older than me.

For the rest of the remaining time left, she never looked back at me once.

Maybe she's embarrassed.

I mentally shrugged just as the invigilator started taking in the papers.

The final bell rang on cue just as she took the last paper in.

The class jumped up, ready to rush out the classroom for no specific reason.

I normally also always rush out for no specific reason, but today was not the case.

I noticed the fat girl now only packing her books away, which led me to purposely be slower.

I don't know what I thought I would achieve for being slower along with her.

By the time she finally zipped her bag, I passed her desk. Normally I just pass right by it and her but today I actually looked at her.

She looked back and our eyes seemed to have locked together.

Because I was still walking, I even had to turn my head backwards to continue staring at her, as she evenly stared back.

She unlocked our eyes from each other and stood up, making sure to look at anywhere and everywhere but me.

Suddenly, a thought occurred to me as I exited the room.

I need confirmation of her assumed crush on me, and I know just how to get it.
