So here it is, the very first chapter of Shines Awards.
A little information about the Shines:
There will be 21 winners Yup! You read that correctly :)
16 based on the genre and 5 overall winners (depending on the number of entries it could be less)
So here are the genres:
• HORROR
• VAMPIRE
• WEREWOLF
• PARANORMAL
• SCIENCE FICTION
• FANTASY
• ACTION
• ADVENTURE
• MYSTERY/ THRILLER
• TEEN FICTION (Closed)
• ROMANCE. ( Closed)
• CHICKLIT
• HUMOR
• GENERAL FICTION
• SHORT STORY
• FANFICTION ( Closed)
NOTE:- We'll take max 30 entries per genre. There is no limit for votes or views but your book should at least reach to a point where we can understand your story line (three chapters minimum).
On or about 20 April we will make a final determination of the exact number of genres
Also, keep an eye out for these special categories!
Sub Genres:-
• UNDISCOVERED GEM
• BEST CHARACTER (MALE)
• BEST CHARACTER (FEMALE)
• CLICHÉ BREAKER
• AND THE OVERALL WINNER OF THE SHINES AWARD!
All books are automatically entered into the sub genres!
Things that should be done straight away:-
✓ follow this profile
✓ add this book to your library and if possible your public reading list to get updates
✓ like this chapter and tag at least three of your buddies who might be interested.
✓ follow the judges of your desired genre (OPTIONAL) and the admins (COMPULSORY) (names will be posted in the upcoming chapters)
Entries will start from 18 March to 20 April.
You can submit at most 2 different books per genre. Max entries per person will be 4.
Max entries per genre will be 30
We won't start judging until we have at least 10 books per genre....
The judging timeline is being worked on and on or about 20 April we will have an update
