Ch.5

12 stars had passed and another 12 would pass before looper had to leave , I didn't dislike looper but he was scary so I wasn't to comfortable around him . I woke up at the 5th stars rising and looper was sitting at my kitchen table writing in his note book "what's up man ?" He said as I sluggishly dragged by him. "Hi" I said softly.

"Find anything new ?" I asked "yes a bunch of mistakes in your studies " looper said as he flipped a page to his note book and the looked at mine " yeah about 2 billion years ago I..." I stated

"No these are from the last 200 years man .." looper interrupted "what !? Impossible !" I said throwing the blanket around my shoulder down to the floor in my rush to the kitchen table . I looked over my notes and studies "wow ...how did you catch these mistakes loop ?"  I asked while still scanning my notebook

"Keen eye " looper said

I was opening my mouth to speak again but we heard a knock at the door I walked to the door and opened it and seen two minutemen

Dolanbain and pin , Dolanbain was pins older brother but they were like best friends. Dolanbain was 5'9 with raked back brown hair and brown eyes and tan skin with a pointed chin and slender nose , and pin was 5'6 with shaggy blonde hair and blue eyes In human years Dolanbain would be about 19-22 years old and pin would be 14-16 around the same age as Arron .

"Hey,  you Rudy ?" Dolanbain asked "yeah , Dolanbain right ?" I said smiling and putting my hand out for a shake but he cocked his fist back and hit me hard in the nose I stumbled backwards and fell "ow!" I winced "dude what the heck you said you was coming down here to talk to him !" Pin shoved Dolanbain.

"We did talk then he got hit " Dolanbain said bluntly. Then looper jumped over me and I heard a rough grunt and a loud thud afterwards . I looked up and seen looper with bloody hand and seen dolanbain propped up on one elbow and knee.

"What seems to be the problem gentlemen?" Looper asked in a civilized tone . Dolanbain wiped the blood from his eyebrows. "Arron ! His brother told me and pin not to go on this mission with him because it was to dangerous , but ! He's actually doing this to lower our score and make me and pin drop lower in the ranks and kick us out of the military " dolanbain said

His blood slowly dropped onto the cobblestone street and the grey sky swirled above him and looper . What he was talking about was their military score each minuteman has a military score . Going on rough missions build score and push you up in rank but if your rank got to low you was kicked out of the military. There was 3 million ranks , 1 million and up was the good ones , 2 million and up is at risk of dropping and being kicked

3 million is the danger zone and the top 100 were the military's elite force

"Stop losing your mind over a stupid rank !" Looper said stepping up to dolanbain "listen number 13! You must be forgetting that I'm number 9 and I could take you out any time I want !" Dolanbain shouted

Looper had no expression besides a raised eyebrow " your rank has nothing to do with your hands , you've been on more missions don't mean you're a better fighter " looper said calmly as he threw me his weapons belt . Dolanbain stood up and threw pin his weapons belt "last chance looper ! Admit I'm better ! Then get out of the way so I can turn Rudy into an example for Arron " Dolanbain grunted

Looper slanted his lips and shrugged with his hands still hanging down by his side . Dolanbain put his hands up and threw a punch . Looper leaned to the side and while dodging he hit Dolanbain with a jab on his right cheek . Dolanbain spit out blood then put his hands back up .He threw a six punch combo and looper ducked and bobbed and slipped his head dodging  each punch then kneed Dolanbain in the stomach and swung a hard hook at the back of his head knocking him flat on his face .

He spit out blood and got back up "dude Dolan don't you think you should stop now " pin asked

Dolanbain started throwing countless organized punches and out of 18 punches one caught looper . Loopers head slightly tilted up . Looper wasn't fazed by the punch at all he just grabbed Dolanbains arm and punched him in the chin and Dolanbain fell . Looper held him by the wrist ..."when ever a minuteman dies the one under him moves up in his rank ...be ashamed If number ten became nine today huh ?"  Looper said as he put his foot to Dolanbains throat

That's where his hour glass was . How hour glasses work they can be any size from the size of a pinky to the size of a car MOST tempus creatures had normal or small hourglasses that stayed in their body , if these hour glasses are broken the tempus will die , the hour glass is not visible on a physical level but it's more of a spiritual thing we see for example my hour glass is in my forehead but it is not as if I have an hour glass sticking out of my forehead or as of it can be physically seen

A tempus body can be completely obliterated but if the hour glass survived the tempus , If enough of its DNA survived its body can be cloned and the hour glass can be put into the new body . Not all of us have an hour glass in the same place mine is in my forehead and loopers is where his heart is and some of us like the gods for example carry their hour glasses with them , their hour glasses are life sized so I could imagine how heavy they are .

"This isn't over !" Dolanbain said as he got up and put his weapons belt on and walked away . "Nice seeing you Rudy " pin said as he walked away with Dolanbain "you to " I said pinching my nose to stop the bleeding " you just don't let some one punch you like that !" Looper said picking me up by the collar and standing me on my feet , I continued to hold my nose as he walked back in the house with disappointment
