“Jordan?”
Jordan looks up miserably from the pillow, squinting towards the lit doorway. He has turned on the light in his room since he stepped into it... some time ago. He allows his eyes time to adjust to the sudden light. In the doorway, he sees James who has a glass of water in his hand. He watches James walk into the room and set the glass on Jordan's bedside table. He pats Jordan's leg to tell him to move over a bit so James can sit on the very edge of the bed. Jordan shifts over, watching James cautiously as he sits down.
“I heard a bang against the wall. I was worried.”, James explains. Jordan points his finger towards the dent he made in the wall and James' eyes follow. “You're at the anger stage I see.”
“Mix of the first two.”, Jordan admits, his voice rough from the lack of use. They lock eyes for a few seconds.
“I get it, you know. Maybe not to the same extent as you, but I've lost people too.”, James says, “It's okay if you want to punch something right now. That's sort of the norm.”
Jordan nods almost microscopically.
“I know that you really loved her. She kept you grounded for the longest time.”, James' hand slides up to Jordan's bicep, squeezing slightly. “I'm really sorry. She didn't deserve this.”
Jordan nods again, but it's a bit more noticeable.
“Do you want to be alone right now?”, James asks.
Jordan lifts his chin to nod, but he changes his mind and shakes his head. He keeps shaking his head as his head lowers into the fabric of the pillow once more, a small sob breaking past his lips.
He feels James awkwardly wrap his arms around Jordan's sobbing form in an attempt at comfort. It can't be comfortable for James, but Jordan isn't about to stop him. James' arms cradle him for a short time as Jordan slips in another cry. Jordan's head is pounding from the amount of time he's spent crying, but it's the least of his worries right now.
“I'm here, Jordan. It's okay.”, James murmurs, holding onto Jordan tightly.

Outside of Jordan's window, Aleks is crouched on the snow covered roof. He grins. If Jordan is too distracted by Monica's death, no way in hell will he be concerned about James.
It's his one way ticket home.

“What are you going to do with him?”
Kevin sits on the other side of Seamus desk as Seamus concentrates on folding a piece of paper. He runs his fingernail along the most recent fold he's made, the tip of his tongue poking out from the corner of his lip. “I'm gonna keep him around.”
“When you said kidnap him, I was expecting some kind of brutal death to happen here. I didn't realize you were keeping him around for shits and giggles.”, Kevin narrows his eyes at the paper in Seamus' hands as he flips it over, “I can't say I'm not disappointed... what the hell are you doing?”
