He hears Ze's goodbye just barely through the wood and it;s only a few more seconds before Ze opens the door to see a stiff looking Aleks. Ze's eyes widen once he gets the first sight of Aleks in the dark hallway, towering over him with a deadly stare.
“Uh... hi.”
“Why do you want to leave?”, Aleks asks, words cold as ice.
Ze hesitates. “I made breakfast. I wasn't sure how long you would be sleeping so I stuck it in the toaster over-”
“Why do you want to leave me here?”, Aleks asks again. “I want an answer.”
“I don't think that's an answer you want to hear.”, Ze murmurs so softly it's barely audible.
With every step forward Aleks takes towards Ze, he takes one step back. Aleks keeps moving towards him until Ze is pressed against the section of the wall next to his bed. “Aleks-”
“Why do you want to leave?”, Aleks puts a pause between each word, each syllable pressing Ze further against the wall.
“Cause I'm fucking terrified of you.”, Ze admits softly.
Aleks' gaze hardens even further, as if suffocating Ze with just itself. “And you think running away from me will save you? You think I won't chase after you like a homing missile? Running from your monsters while only make them worse.” Aleks sees Ze physically gulp as Aleks' gets even further into Ze's personal space. “So you're not going anywhere until I say that you can.”
“I don't work for you, Aleks. I work for Seamus. If Seamus says I can leave, then I'm taking his word against yours.”
“If you so much as step out onto the porch with your suitcase in hand without my consent, I will not hesitate to burn you alive.”
“I'm a master of bluffing, Aleks. I wouldn't bluff with me.”, it seems as though Ze has finally grown a backbone, standing tall against the wall instead of slouching under Aleks' stare.
“Try me.”, Aleks dares.

When Eddie wakes up, he's in a dining room.
This wasn't what he was expecting when he saw Kevin pointing a gun at him. He was expecting to wake up among the clouds and be seeing his dead great aunt or grandmother. He wasn't expecting a beautiful dining room with a crystal chandelier above his head.
“Where the hell am I?”, he asks, thinking aloud.
“Would you like a tour?”, a voice rings out. Eddie looks towards the nearest doorway and sees a curly blond haired man standing the doorway with a remote in hand. Eddie squints at him for a second. E's pretty sure he's seen this guy before. Is he-
“I'm sorry. I guess I should have given you the tour before I knocked you out. That might have been the more polite thing to do.”, the blond walks closer to him, stopping to adjust a crystal hanging off the chandelier. “But you should know that I'm not very polite.”
