Chapter 22 : Birthday Girl

Today is my 22nd  birthday and I haven't gotten any texts from my family or friends. Not even Chres like I'm really upset like What the fuck ? Hello , I'm the motherfucking birthday girl the day I was created and given to the world. I finally went to the bathroom in looked at the mirror and I saw a big note on the mirror from my hubby .

"Happy Birthday Baby , I know you're sleepy head is just getting up past 12 but hurry up and get dressed I'm taking you to the mall . I'll be there at 2:30 pm."<3

My smile got even bigger I don't know why I would think he would forget about me like that . I hopped in the shower and turned on my shower radio and began singing in the shower. When I finally got out, I went into the room and lotioned up and placed on my underwear and bra .I was just in the best mood ever I turned on my iPhone and played  Bossy by Kelis. Out of no where I began singing

I'm the first girl to scream on a track
I switched up the beat of the drum
That's right, I brought all the boys to the yard
And that's right, I'm the one that's tattooed on his arm

After I got dressed I went in the kitchen because I was hungry and then I got another note on the table from Chres .

Yeah , I knew you was gonna be hungry so I got you your favorite salad from Panera :) Enjoy 

I wonder how the rest of the day is going to go I began eating my salad. I was still waiting from a call from my mom and friends but no one texted me or called I guess they forgot.

2 hours later 

I was watching tv on the couch waiting for Chres until he called .
" Hello " 
" I'm outside " he said excitedly 
I jumped off the couch and ran down the steps outside to the car .
"Happy Birthday Baby " he says leaning in to kiss me 
" Thankyou" 
" You're welcome , Are you ready ? He asked
“Yea I'm ready to go shopping”
"Where are we going ? I asked curious
" Just know you're gonna get pampered and maybe a date " he said 
20 minutes later we arrived at the mall and we did a little shopping he wanted me to get a dress for a special occasion so I picked this silver sequence dress with some red pumps to wear . 
"You like these two together ?" I asked 
" Good lawd girl imma have to rip that off of you tonight " he smirks bitting his lip 
" Maybe you can " I winked

Today I'm treating my girl to everything she wants with the help of her mom ,and my parents she doesn't know that her mother is throwing her a surprise birthday party so I'm trying not to make it obvious but it's hard because she asks so many questions . It's already 4:30 and the party starts at 9pm so I have to make sure she's all dolled up by then. 
"Ok next you can get your nails and feet done if you want " I said 
"That would be love " she smiled walking into the nail salon
" I'll be back in like 30 minutes okay " I said 
"Ok babe " she said putting her feet in the predicate bowl
I called her cousin Sydney because she was great with makeup and her mother told me so .

"Hey Sydney Are you there already ? " I asked 
" Yea I'm here , What time will you be here ? " she asked 
" We should be there at 6 " I said 
" Ok I'll see ya'll when ya'll get here " she smiled

I went in the car because I didn’t have the patience to wait in the nail salon and hear Ming Ming talk gibberish  all day. I just sat my chair back and relaxed until Cori's mom called me.

“Hey  Ms. Trina” I cheered

“ Hey how is Cori doing ? Are you doing a good job at keeping it a secret ? she asked
