We've all heard of Auston Matthews. He's the rookie that everyone who considers themselves a sports fan is talking about. It seems as though anyone would do anything to get close to him. That is anyone except for Alaska Owens.

"How did you do that?" Carly asks, amazed at Steph's ability to get us in.
"I wish I could say it was all me, but Mitch called ahead and told them we were with them," she explains, pushing through another door which led to the actual club.
Loud music and the smell of alcohol overwhelms my senses, helping me perk up. Steph pushes through the crowd, leaving Carly and I to hurry after her. We finally stop in a roped off area that was significantly less crowded than everywhere else.
I glance around the space, seeing all of the Leafs and a couple of their girlfriends. Mitch and Will immediately swarm us when they see us enter.
"It's about time, geez," Mitch huffs, throwing an arm around Steph. They really are the most adorable couple you'll ever see. Steph frowns and motions toward me. Mitch and Will look at me and shake their heads.
"How come you're always the one that makes everyone late?" Will asks with a chuckle. I shrug my shoulders and smile.
"I didn't know what to wear!" I say, defending my honor. Mitch looks me over and lights up.
"You look great! Just wait until Auston sees you," he says, wiggling his eyebrows. Will and Carly join Steph in laughing at Mitch's comment. I roll my eyes and playfully shove him. I'm glad they all have something they can laugh at together.
"Oh come on, Alaska, you know we're kidding," Will says, noticing my reaction. Mitch shoots him a look before turning to me.
"No, we're not," he says, grinning. I glare at him and swipe a drink off the table sitting beside me. I take a sip, my body relaxing at the taste of alcohol. The group laughs at my actions as Carly slings an arm over my shoulder. I down the rest of the drink and set the glass back down on the table.
"Can one of you take a picture of Alaska and me?" Carly asks sweetly. Will volunteers, sending his girlfriend a genuine smile. I hand him my phone and pull Carly to my side.
"What kind of pic should we take?" I yell to Steph over the noise of the club.
"Make a sexy face!" she shouts back. I look to see what face Carly was making to see that she had a finger in her mouth. I burst out laughing at her 'sexy face.' The flash goes off, capturing the moment. Will hands me my phone and I thank him for lending us his unsung photography skills.
I pull the picture up in Instagram and turn the screen to Carly.
"Can I post it?" I ask her. She nods eagerly in approval. I grin and press upload, posting it for all of my followers to see.
