There a four walls.

I know because I've counted.

Three hundred times to be sure.

There are definitley four.

There is a ceiling and a floor.

I know because I've checked.

Three hundred times to be sure.

There's a ceiling and a floor.

I'm lying on a bed.

I know because I've checked.

Three hundred times to be sure.

Its a bed and nothing more.

There is no one else in this room.

I know because I've counted.

Three hundred times to be sure.

I wish that there were more.

There is a window and a door.

I know because I've checked.

Three hundred times to be sure.

Just a window and a door.

The door is locked.

I know because I've checked.

Three hundred times to be sure.

There is no opening the door.

Through the window there are people.

I know because I've checked.

Three hundred times to be sure.

They gather more and more.

The people do not hear me.

I know because I've checked.

Three hundred times to be sure.

Screaming makes my throat sore.

I want to leave my room.

I know because I know.

Three hundred times to be sure.

My fingers scratch at the door.

One day I make a decision.

I think that it is right.

Three hundred times to be sure.

That glass will shatter nice.

My skin is slashed to ribbons.

I know and I have counted.

Three hundred times to be sure.

Blood drips to the floor.

The people look ahead.

I know because I see now.

I've suffered just to see this?

I want to go home.

I turn and find my room is gone.

I know because I've checked.

Three hundred times to be sure.

It's gone and I shall mourn.

I lie down and begin to heal.

I know because I've checked.

Three hundred times to be sure.

My pain begins to go.

Walls rise around me from the ground.

I know because I've checked.

Three hundred times to be sure.

Around me they grow.

There are four walls.

I know because I've counted.

Three hundred times to be sure.

There are definitley four.
