Throughout my young, complicated life I've learned many things. Looking back on it all now, before any of this happened I would have told you that my biggest fear was facing death or having to make a life or death choice. I laugh at it now, knowing how much easier it is having been through it. How much easier it is compared to having to let go of someone you love because of something you can't control. Because of something that was chosen for you and you have to pick up the loose ends because of it. Knowing the pain of being in this spot, I can say I'd pick a life and death situation over this a thousand times and all over again. I didn't know it then, but the life I was living was only going to last so long before it all fell apart. And believe me I tried... I tried so hard to keep both. But it was only a matter of time before the moon was full.
