Chapter 1 - SAO

4:30 P.M. November 21, 2022

"Big bro! Can we please per order SAO? I really want to play it" your little brother screamed as he ran into your room waking you up

"Tomorrow" you said as you sat up barley awake

"The game comes out tomorrow" he whinned

"Ugh fine on a scale of one to ten how bad do you want this game?" You ask as you rub your eyes

"ELEVEN!" He screamed as he jumped into your computer chair and stared at you

"Wow an eleven. He must really want this game, he's never rated anything above a 7 before" you thought to yourself as you noticed he was now staring at a picture of your parents, that was sitting on the desk. You rub his head messing up his hair a little "alright get ready and we'll go to the store, be ready and meet me by the front door in five minutes or I'm going back to bed"

"Alright! Thanks (y/n)!" He yelled as he jumped out of the chair and ran to his room

"Man what am I going to do with this kid?" You laughed as you rubbed the back of your head and got dress

"10...9...8...7...6"

"I'm coming!"

"5...4...3...2"

"I made it" Pant*

"Just in time to. One more second and I would have went back to bed, and man was I looking forward to going back to bed" you said as you opened the front door and walked out

"Not funny, you know you can be mean sometimes" he said as he began to pout

" I was just playing" you said as you rubbed his head "I already ordered the games and the nerve gear while you were getting ready"

"Wait did you say games?"

"Yea. I decided I would give it a try as well" you said as you walked a head of your brother " all we have to do is go to the store and pick them up, but if you don't hurry up I will just sell your copy to someone else"

"what no! Wait up!" He screamed as he ran to catch up with you

You and your brother arrive at the game store and walk in and up the cash register and are greeted by a man with red hair

"Oh hey (y/n), Sage, what's up guys"

"Ryoutarou, I see you got stuck working the regester again" you said

"Yea I hate it, although it does give me the chance to talk to all the pretty ladies that come in" He said as he looked over a girl checking out at the next regester. he walked over and started to talk to her

"Hey sage watch this" you said as you walked over to the girl and Ryoutarou

"Um hey big bro, who's this" you asked in a little kid voice pointing over at the girl as you tugged on his sleeve

"My name Meme" she answered

"Big bro, are you trying to hook up with Ms. Meme" you asked still pointing at her " what about Sara?"

"Who's Sara?" She asked

"His girlfriend" you answered back

"What your trying to cheat on your girlfriend! Loser" she screamed as she stormed out of the store

"Wait come back! I don't have a girlfriend" He cried out "dont belive anything he says he's not even my brother!"

You and Sage high five

"Why would you do that (y/n)" Ryoutarou asked as he started to cry a little

"Ah don't be like that you'll get her next time" you said as you slapped him on his back trying to cheer him up

"What did you guys come here for anyways" he asked "besides running my chances of getting a girlfriend"

"Big bro, per order SAO." Sage said as began to bounce when he looked behind the register and saw a few copies of the game

"Oh right I forgot you called about that a few minutes ago" Ryoutarou said a he walked back into a room behind the registers

A few minutes later he came back out of the room and handed you two boxes and gave Sage two copies of the game

"OK here you guys go, two copies of Sword Art Online and two sets of nerve gear" he said "you can log on at twelve tonight"

"thanks Ryoutarou" Sage said as he ran out of the store

"Oh hey are you going to play the game to?" You asked

"Yes I already bought it" Ryoutarou answered

"OK, what's name going to be so I know who to look for?" You asked as you start to walk out of the store

"Klein" he said as he waved bye to you

You and Sage walk back to your house and when you get there you hook the game up and Sage sits down and waits patiently as you go and cook dinner

"Alright, you ready Sage?" You ask as you put you nerve gear on

"I've never been more ready for anything in my life" He said excitedly as he put his gear on his head

"Alright, Let's do this" you said

"Link Start" you both say simultaneously
