"I sentence you to 50 years...." The judge is saying to Avery. Avery throws her head into her hands and lets out a deep breath.
"This is bullshit. They have enough evidence to see that I was acting in self defense. He tried to kill me. What choice did I have other than shooting him?" Avery says and asks her self.
As most of the people are leaving the courtroom, Avery notices her younger sister Jody crying into her hands. Avery wishes that she could comfort her sister and that Lois was there to help vindicate her. Too bad Lois was in the hospital. Avery's hands are being cuffed behind her back and she is being escorted to a police car. As they leave the courthouse, reporters are everywhere asking Avery questions. Avery just looks at the ground.
"If any of these people were there, they would know that there is nothing to be sorry for. I cannot wait to get out of this stupid city. The people here are one dimensional anyway. Well, City of Ford, it was nice knowing you," Avery whispers to herself.
"Well, Miss Avery.... It will be a five hour ride to Shelly. The penitentiary out there.... boy oh boy.... the things I hear about that go on in that place.... lets just say you better find a good friend in there. That is if a friend with good sense exists. That place tends to collect, mostly, dangerous women. Men, too. I really hope you can defend yourself. Some of the women there might try to kill you," the officer tells her. "It is sad because I believe that you are innocent."
"Great. Once again, I have to worry about being murdered and there's the possibility of torture if not murder," Avery tells herself.
"I want to make something clear to you, I have no problem making stops for food. If you need McDonald's or whatever, let me know. Ok?" The officer suggests.
"Thank you for that," Avery replies.
"No problem. Like I said this will be a five hour drive."
The officer makes a right down Oval Avenue onto Hickory Road and suddenly a naked person is heading towards the cruiser.
"Hey, man.... Do you have.... any money?" The naked man asks.
"Hahahahahaha. You cannot be fucking serious," the officer laughs.
The officer gets out of the car and makes a call on his radio.
"This is Officer Mitchell, I need an officer to come down to Hickory Road to pick up a drunk, naked man," the officer says.
The naked man punches Officer Mitchell in the face. The officer takes his baton and breaks the naked man's wrist.
"I dare you to try something else! I will put you into a wheel chair you fucking retard!" The officer shouts.
Moments later, another cruiser shows up.
"Get this stupid motherfucker into an orange jumpsuit asap," Officer Mitchell says.
"I still have to transport her to Shelly's Penitentiary."
The naked man starts kicking and screaming.
"Alright. Here we go," Officer Mitchell says.
They continue their trip and Avery starts daydreaming.
"What are you doing this afternoon?" Avery asks Lois.
"Nothing. You?" Lois asks.
"I was wondering if we could go out and get lunch together and have a get together later on, if you know what I mean," Avery says.
"Ooh, I am so turned on," Lois responds.
"I was hoping that we could be more than just friends. I want to be in a romantic relationship with you," Avery explains.
