Chapter 12 - Finish Him

I gripped my steering wheel so hard completely piss for what happen earlier. My body burned and my mind wasn't thinking straight. I turned to the side so see Joan curled like a ball sleeping

I want to kill Amelio so bad.. I need to kill him fast

When my man told me that Joan went for lunch with Amelio , I blew up at second. I took my jet and went to Miami with a big risk in my hand. Now I have to drive back to New York by car.

I'm speeding up crazily because of my emotion. I still can't believe this girl. I hacked her hotel room and put a few secret camera and went I saw Amelio enter. I immediately blew up and when he touched her and kissed her I went crazy.

I needed to find a way to make that fucker out. My mind went so crazy and fast to think about a way. I don't know why I'm claiming her as mine but I don't like it when someone else touched her.

I've been driving for 6 hours and it's crazy that my body still burned in anger

"Can you at least rest and calm your head down? I don't want to die tonight" Suddenly Joan stated and I kept driving crazily

"Nate" She called and I hate it when she gave me that tone

"Nate.. Let's find somewhere to stop" She stated and I ignored her

"Nate!"

"What?" I asked coldly

"Pull over , I need to go to the toilet" She said and I sighed. I pulled over to a small 24 hours McDonalds. She went to the toilet and bought 3 burgers and 2 cokes for us on the way.

"Let's rest for a while okay?" She said and I shook my head. I wore a sunglasses and a beanie to cover my identity

"Let's go"

"Rest for awhile Nate" She held my arm and pulled me to the corner. She looked at me disbelief. She sat across me with her face still full of make up. She looked really beautiful and I'm so fucked up earlier

"You have a bad temper" She stated looking at me

"You cause this" I said and she shook her head

"What's the next plan?" She asked changing the subject

"I just want to kill him after this" I stated honestly

"He's allergy to Orange , there's a guy or girl name Julian that I'm suspicious about.. he's already attach to me. It's good for you to use and dig something through me" That made me boil again

"Of course he's attach Joan , you gave him your body" I said sarcasticly

"Not only him but you too" She stated annoy

"Don't test me Joan" I warned

"I'm here to help you and protect my family. In the end , none of you guys will get me" She stated and I scoffed sarcasticly

"You're a pure seductress Joan"

"I told you from the start , I'm capable to lure any guys I want" She smirked and my heart started to boil more

"If you try to seduce Amelio again , I'll kill him straight away"

"You're the one who asked me to seduce him so don't blame it on me Nate. You're the one who suggest this" She's right but now I regreted it

"Change plans Joan.."

"Why because you're jealous?" She shot and I looked at her dangerously

"I said don't test me Joan"

"Test you what?" She suddenly leaned and gave me her flirty look

"Joan" I warned

"Let's go , I can't stand being here with you. You're a jerk" She said and she walked out. I followed her and walked to my car. My guards still following me and I started to drive again.

"I have a plan" Suddenly she said

"What?"

"What do you want to know from him again?"

"Nothing , I have all of it" I stated

"Why not kill him now?" She asked me disbelief

"I need one thing from him" I stated and she turned to me

"What is it? What do you want?"

"My parents death" That's right.. I might found out that he killed my parents too

"He killed your parents too?"

"Yeah , something like that. They got something from my parents and I still don't know what is it" I stated

"How can we find that out?" Joan asked

"That's why I'm still working on it"

"We need to do this fast Nate" She said in a really serious tone

"I'm working on it Joan , it's not as easy as you think" I hissed and she sighed

"Do you think my dad aware of this?" She suddenly asked I glanced at her

"Aware. They're the 7 Gold Lifes Joan , you know they're smart , powerfull and they have the best team to find out about this"

"But why didn't they do anything?"

"Sometimes when the enemy haven't start the war. We can't start it early because we might be give a wrong move. That's not a smart strategy" I answered and there's a silent between us

"What do you want to do when everything is settle?" She suddenly asked

"I don't know.. Back to work and have a vacation maybe" I said and I saw she nodded from the corner of my eyes

"I hope you be happy Nate" That made me turned to her for a second

"Be happy is the most important thing. Find a girl and be happy with her Nate. Having a family is the best thing in the world. Find your happiness after this.. You've done enough and you already went through a hard time too much" She stated and I never thought her words will be this comforting

She said a simple words but it meant a lot to me. It was so comforting and just.. felt warm. I found myself smiling replaying her words again and again.
