Chapter 4 - Find Out

"Why did you agree with him? It's your chance to-"

"I'm not an easy woman Nate , don't be an asshole. If you don't like , find someone else" I pushed him from my way and plopped myself to the sofa

"It's your chance" He said in a really annoy tone

"Don't worry , I have a lot of chance. I'm a seductress" I said as I took a bottle of water in front of me

"Right.. Seductress. Are you sure about that?" He plopped beside me

I turned my head to him and smirked. I took off my shoes and plopped on to his lap. He was shocked because his eyes widen and I circled my legs around him

"Do you want me to make him fall in love with me? Or you want me to make you fall in love with me?" I said caressing his cheek and leaned to him more like whispering

"Him to fall in love with you"

"I might fall in love with him and go to his side.. maybe spill everything" I whispered to his ear with my seducting voice

"He's up for your dad. Sebastian Cesborn is his next list" He said and that made me look at him seriously

"What? Why did just tell me right now?" I started to get angry

"It's a mutual deal Joan , I just found out about it this morning. I have my man in his company now and Sebastian Cesborn is on the list after me. They took me down and after this your dad" He said seriously

"Fuck"

"You can't tell your dad , he will approach you too to get information so be careful" He warned and I got off from him

"I'm outta here , I don't want to work with you again" I said as I walked to the door

"If you stop , we can't kill him together" That made me stop walking

"He's after your dad and you should make prevent that to happen. I want to kill that man" Nate added

"Do you think I'm a fool? Do you even have prove?"

"It's up to you beautiful , it's up to you" He said and I walked out from his house. I got into the car and went back to my house.

I needed to find out about this more. I can't trust Nate or Amelio. I needed to find this myself. I needed to find on my own.

I need Autumn North.. ASAP

"Where are you?"

"Having a dinner with Morris , I'm currently in the toilet fixing my lipstick. Why?" She asked

"Come to my house after that , make him drop you here" I stated

"Are you okay? Did something happen?"

"I need your hacking skill North" I said

"Be there in 1.5 hours" She stated and I ended the call. I got on my bed and started searching for Nate's news. I needed to know everything about him..

Kill himself? Found in his room? He's stressing about his business that went down slowly? What?

I found out about Herinel too.. this is crazy.

"Why do you need me?" Suddenly Autumn went inside my room. I gestured her to sit beside me. She sat beside me and looked at the screen

"What are you doing with this articles?" She asked

"Nate Bryant kidnapped me last week"

"What?! He's dead"

"He's not dead Autumn , he covered everything up" I told her and she looked at me disbelief

"No no.. back the the kidnapping. What happen?" She asked curious

"He needs my help , The Herinel was the one who killed him and he wanted a revenge. The fact that Herinel has a business deal with my dad made him choose me" I said

"Joan.. You can't trust that guy"

"I know but I felt weird when I first met him. That why I agreed. This evening's event was my first mission. Amelio Herinal already attach to me" I said and Autumn sighed

"Don't risk your life , you don't know who Nate is and you don't know who Amelio is"

"That's why I need you to find out. Hacking is not my ability. You know that" I said and she nodded. She took my laptop and started digging.

This will be damn hard..

"You're unbelievable Joan , I still can't believe you're doing this. I suggest you to stop before something happens" Autumn warned and I sighed

"I know but something inside of me wants to help him. That's the weirdest thing. You know when you have this weird feeling inside your chest" I said

When I saw Nate , the first thing that cross my mind was this guy did need help. The small house he was in. The fact that he was alone touched my heart.

I knew it's dangerous and maybe Nate won't care about me or he might lied or things like that but my heart told me to help him that's why I risked this.

I need to meet him tomorrow too.. Good thing I don't have a schedule tomorrow.

"I found his profile and his background before he was stated dead" Autumn said and she gave it to me
