Chapter 9 - Guarantee

Joan came into my house with a smirk plastered on her beautiful face. She walked to the kitchen and drank a cold water

"Bankrupt?" She looked at me suspiciously

"It never went bankrupt and how did you even find this Jasmine?" I asked and she put down the cup. She walked to me and crossed her arms in front of her chest

"I have my own ways.. What about the salary?"

"It was his doing Joan" I said and she pulled her hairband making her hair fall down

"This is getting complicated okay? You have to tell me everything from A to Z about all of this" She bursted angrily and I nodded. I turned my body and took my black shirt. I threw it to her

"What for?" She asked

"Double it!" I said , I can't stand looking at her wearing hat sexy dress. My inner beast kept wanting to rip it apart. The second that she walked in. I can't help but check her out from head to toe. This girl is so dangerous

"I don't want too.. it's hot" She said and I sighed. I gestured her to follow me to my meeting room. I opened my laptop and gathered all the news that I had printed before. I took all the evidence that I have and everything

"Sit" I sat on my chair and I gestured her to sit beside me

"I have a plan" She suddenly said when she sat on the chair beside me

"What?" I turned to her and damn those green eyes! I closed my eyes for a split second trying to control myself from attacking her

"I will rent a private room for the both of us. I'll lure him and maybe give him a little fun.. I want to drug him" She said and the words 'little fun' made me boil to death. I looked away and tried to control my emotion inside of me

"Drug him what?"

"Sleeping pills" She said

"For what?"

"Put a program to his phone" I turned to her

"Where? When?"

"This friday.. I already text him the place" This girl is just unbelievable. I can't believe she's already one step ahead of me

"Why are you planning on your own?" I asked annoy

"I don't like the fact he's after my family. I will ruin him before he can reach my family" She said seriously

"By playing dirty with him? Are you insane?"

"I don't care about it and why do you care?" She shrugged and that made me angry more

"Find another way" I said seriously and add angry tone in my voice

"No.. I need to see what's inside his phone"

"He will know that you drug him Joan!" I bursted and she looked at me disbelief

"Maybe I'll drug him to death"

"He will hurt you before that. He's smart Joan , he's not as dumb as you think!" I hissed and she looked away completely piss

"I'm going to do it my way Nate , I don't fu-"

"Listen to me woman. It's not that easy" I held her shoulder and made her look at me. I looked at her seriously and her eyes softens

She pushed my hand away and walked out from the room. I knew there's something wrong with her. I followed her out from the room and saw her taking her bag walking towards the door. I caught her wrist

"What's on your mind right now?"

"I'm tired , I want to go home" She stated trying to pull her wrist from my grip

"Let's talk.. Come here" I pulled her back inside. We both sat on the sofa and she looked so sad and so fragile. Her expression from mad turned into blank. There's something..

"I had a nightmare last night and it's about my dad. He was killed.." She started

"It was so real that I was so afraid that it will be real. I saw my dad this morning being funny and protective to me broke my heart more remembering the nightmare and the fact that Herinel will come after my dad" She said and she hid herself with her hair. I sat closely to her..

"I won't let this happen Nate" She suddenly looked at me. Her eyes were watery and I felt stung on my heart seeing that expression

"We won't let that happen if we find a way to kill him smoothly" I said because that's the truth

"No.. We need to be fast because you won't know when will Herinel make his move" She said and I held her hand

"Listen to me.. We find a way but not you selling your body to him" I said seriously

"I don't care about my body. I care my family more! I will do any-" That made my temper rise immediately.. I held it and let it burned inside my body

"So what are you going to do? Sleep with him? He will make a shortcut if you give him that Joan" I stated and looked at her with burning eyes

"My family is in danger Nate , my dad's life is on the line. Not yours only!"

"They think I'm already dead" I tried to stay calm

"That's why my dad is next Nate" She said in a really sad tone

"If you don't come up with a plan soon Nate , I will do it my way. I don't care if you like it or not. I will kill him with my own hands because he's up for my family" She said seriously , she stood up and took her bag walking out from my house

Don't worry Joan , I'll guarantee that he won't touch your family and you. I will make a revenge to him for what he did to me and I will kill him with my own hand
