"Hey are you almost done in there?" Eleanor banged on the bathroom door

"Yeah, sorry I-" Grant opened the bathroom door, "Wow you look great!" Grants eyes looked Eleanor up and down, her black longed sleeve dress fitting her perfectly

Eleanor smiled, "You don't look too bad yourself, Gustin." She flicked the collar of his suit jacket

Grant smiled, nodding towards the door, "You ready to go?" Grant asked, holding out his hand

Eleanor smiled and took his hand, "Probably not."

"Guys there's 5 minutes before the ball drops, has everybody picked out somebody to kiss?" Carlos addressed the small group of friends

Eleanor rolled her eyes, "Why can't we just do a group hug?"

"Because that's for babies. Team Flash smooches." Carlos told her

Eleanor scoffed, "Oh yeah? And who's the lucky girl?" She asked

"No idea." With that he turned and walked away, Candice, and Danielle following closely behind

"2 minutes left. Have you found your person?" Grant asked, looking around the room

Eleanor looked over at Grant, "I think so? Not sure if he's up for a kiss or not." She laughed

Grant chucked, "Oh come on! Any guy would be lucky to kiss you." His eyes still searched around the room

"Grant."

Grant turned fast towards Eleanor, slamming his lips onto hers without second question. The people around them cheered, and hugged -or kissed- one another, but the two paid them no attention, their focus was on each other.

Carlos, Candice, and Danielle had come back by now, all had smile on their face as they saw their two best friends finally -hopefully- getting back together.

Grant slowly pulled away from the kiss, resting his forehead onto Eleanor's, both had wide smiles on their faces.

"Happy New Year." Eleanor whispered
