At Mitch's house is where the gangs hideout because had an underground lab that hid beneath the tiles in his backyard. "Yo Mitch what you got to eat here?asked Clarence. "Coming" said Mitch. "Come quickly i'm crazy hungry" said Clarence. Mitch rushed into the kitchen "Well i got cookies,pizzas,burgers,chips,sandwiches,salads and fruits" said Mitch. "Where's the salad?asked Clarence. "In that big bowl over there" said Mitch pointing at a counter. "Thanks man" said Clarence. "No problem" said Mitch. Clarence walked up to the counter and took the bowl of salad. He sat down and ate the salad,as he ate his salad Lorelei came into the lounge because she had gone swimming in the pool in the backyard. "Whoa why are you eating a salad?asked Lorelei. "I'm hungry" replied Clarence. "But why salad?she asked. "I'm eating healthy" replied Clarence. "Oh okay um... the sun's setting so you going to bed?asked Lorelei. "No it's too early" replied Clarence. "Yeah" said Lorelei. As the sun set the sky started getting darker and darker. Clarence stood by the window glancing at the stars above "Aren't the stars beautiful?asked Clarence. "Yeah so magnificent" replied Lorelei. As Clarence gazed at the stars he saw a blue object in the night sky "Whoa what's that?asked Clarence. "I don't know" replied Lorelei. "Mitch can i borrow your telescope?asked Clarence. "Okay coming" said Mitch as he grabbed his telescope. Mitch bolted into the room along with his telescope. "Thanks" said Clarence. He took the telescope and pointed the telescope at the blue object. "Whoa i think that's a comet" said Clarence. "A comet?,let me see that" said Mitch as he snatched the telescope from Clarences hands. "Whoa you're right,Clarence do you know what that means?asked Mitch in amazement. Clarence shrugged his shoulders. "It means you're the first person in Silverdale to discover a comet therefore it's called the Clarence comet" said Mitch. "Whoa that's awesome man" said Clarence. "Yeah i'm gonna inform the president that you discovered a comet" said Mitch as he smiled. In the morning Mitch woke up early to call the president. "Mister president i have to inform you that Clarence Jones has discovered a comet" he said over the phone. "What?,really come to my office and i will reward him with a medal and i will inform the public about this" said the president. "Thank you sir it is an honour to speak to you" said Mitch. Mitch hung up the phone and bolted to Clarences room. He shook Clarence and said Clarence wake up man the president is waiting for you". Clarence got up "What?the president,uh oh i've got to look presentable" said Clarence sleepily. "Well get up sunshine" said Mitch. "Okay fine" whined Clarence. Clarence got up and got dressed in the best clothes he had in his closet. "How does this look?asked Clarence. "Whoa nice clothes Jones" replied Mitch. "Thanks i feel great" said Clarence. "Why shouldn't you?asked Mitch. "Exactly i should feel great" replied Clarence. "Whoa hey handsome" said Lorean. "Oh thanks" said Mitch. "I was talking to Clarence" said Lorean. "Oh okay um... this is embarrassing" said Mitch. Clarence laughed at Mitch as he packed his clothes. "So what's the occasion?asked Lorean. "I'm being rewarded for discovering a comet" replied Clarence. "Oh congrats" said Lorean. "Meh it was nothing" said Clarence. "Yeah right" said Lorean. Lorean walked out of the room along with Clarence. Clarence walked to the garage,unlocked his car and got in. Mitch got in as well. "Are you nervous?asked Mitch. "Kinda i've never met the president before" replied Clarence. "Just be yourself" said Mitch. "If i'm supposed to be myself then why am i dressed like this?asked Clarence. "To look good plus you said yourself that you should look presentable" replied Mitch. "Oh yeah" said Clarence. Once they got there Clarence saw two men standing in front of the gate of the presidents mansion. "I have never seen a house this big" said Mitch exitedly. "Calm down the president is gonna think you're a mad man" laughed Clarence. "Can't help it man this house is... big" said Mitch in amazement. Clarence laughed at Mitch as he emerged the presidents gate. Once they got to the gate the telecom switched on. "Enter your names" the telecom said. "Clarence Jones and Mitch Stamford" answered Clarence. "The president is expecting you" the telecom said. The gate opened and Clarence drove through. Clarence got out of his car along with Mitch. Clarence and Mitch walked up to the presidents office. Mitch knocked on the door. "Come in" said the president. Mitch and Clarence entered the presidents office. "Good morning sir my name is Clarence Jones and my friend here is Mitch Stamford" said Clarence. "Ah yes Clarence follow me" said the president. The president got up off of his chair and walked outside to a stage in the street. He stood on the stage in front of the microphone on the stand. "Good morning Silverdale i have good news,a man by the name of Clarence Jones has discovered a comet therefore it shall be known as the Clarence comet,Clarence come on the stage and receive your reward" said the president. Clarence walked up to the stage nervously. "Clarence you have served the city well by discovering a comet congratulations" said the president as he handed him a card with R100 000. Clarence took the card with a smile on his face. "Any words you would like to say Clarence" said the president. Clarence shook his head and walked off the stage. "Okay i hope Mr Jones has inspired all of you here that you can do anything" said the president. Clarence drove home with happiness "Man i'm proud of you" said Mitch. "Thanks don't worry i will share the money with you" said Clarence. "Yes aren't i lucky" said Mitch. Once Clarence and Mitch got home they found Mark,Diane,Lorean,Natasha and Lorelei at the door holding up a large sign saying congratulations. Lorelei was carrying Rebecca in both of her hands. When Clarence got out of his car they all cheered "Congratulations" and they all clapped their hands. "Thanks guys" said Clarence. Lorelei walked up to Clarence and kissed him "Congratulations babe" she said. Clarence hugged her and kissed Rebecca on her forehead. Lorean walked up to Clarence and hugged him. Lorelei stood behind Clarence mouthed i'm watching you. Natasha walked up to Clarence and hugged him. "Thanks guys let's eat out,it's on me" said Clarence and everyone cheered. Meanwhile at the government observatory scientists were gazing at the Clarence comet. One of the scientists gasped and ran to the supervisors office. "Sir it turns out the Clarence comet is plummeting to Silverdale and the collision might wipe us all out" she said. "Bad very bad we shall inform the public and try to prevent the comet from colliding with us" said the supervisor. Meanwhile Clarence,Natasha,Mitch,Mark,Diane,Lorean,Lorelei and Rebecca were driving to a fancy restaurant. Lorean was dressed in a black dress and gold star earrings. Lorelei was dressed in a blue dress,a diamond necklace and diamond earrings. Natasha was dressed in a black dress and blue earrings. Mitch was dressed in a black tuxedo,Clarence was dressed in a blue tuxedo. Mark was dressed in a black tuxedo and Diane was dressed in a white dress. Clarence ordered a table for eight. Once they sat the waiter came "Sir what will you have" asked the waiter. "Well Clarence you're the man of the hour order for the table" said Mitch. "Okay for a starter we'll have a garlic roll,for the main course we'll have lobster and for dessert we'll have a lemon meringue" said Clarence. "Drinks sir" said the waiter. "Champagne but for the kids alcohol free champagne"said Clarence. "Yes sir" said the waiter. The waiter walked to the kitchen and placed an order. "Whoa Clarence why'd we come here?asked Natasha. "Yeah it's super expensive,where'd you get the money?asked Lorean. "My reward from the president" replied Clarence. "Oh yeah forgot about that" said Natasha. Clarence laughed at her and shook his head. The waiter came back with a tray that had a bottle of champagne and four glasses for the adults,and two glasses with alcohol free champagne. "Whew i am thirsty" said Lorean as she took her glass and poured the champagne. "Calm down Lorean" said Clarence. Lorelei laughed at Lorean as she drank her drink. The waiter came back with a tray with a cooked lobster and he placed it on the table and walked away to the kitchen. "Yes lobster i love lobster" said Mitch. "I wish i could say the same I'm allergic to shellfish" said Lorelei. "Oh sorry just wait for the starter" said Clarence as he placed his hand on her shoulder. Lorelei nodded her head. Mitch kept scoffing lobster pieces in his mouth. "Whoa Mitch easy on the lobster man" said Clarence. "No way man this is good stuff" said Mitch with a mouthful of lobster. The lobster disappeared in a moments time "Well you finished the lobster" said Lorean. "Not my fault" said Mitch as he smiled at her. The waiter came back with a tray with a garlic roll "Sorry sir they were delayed" he said. "It's fine" said Clarence. "As the store policy we have to repay you,how may we repay you?asked the waiter. Mitch lifted his hand "More champagne large cups this time" said Mitch. "Yes sir" said the waiter as he wrote down the order and walked away. "Oh smooth move Mitch" said Lorean. "You know me I'm all about the drinks" said Mitch. Lorean laughed at Mitch. The waiter came back shortly "Champagne large glasses" he said. "Yes why are there four glasses?asked Mitch. "Oh my mistake i thought all of you were having" said the waiter. "No we'll just have" said Mitch pointing at him and Lorean. "Hey guys don't overdo it" said Clarence. "We won't" said Mitch as he clanked his glass with Loreans glass and smiled. "Waiter you can bring the bill" said Clarence. The waiter nodded his head and walked up to their table with the bill. Clarence signed the bill and paid. Mitch and Lorean walked out of the restaurant drunk. "I told you guys not to overdo it" said Clarence. "Nag nag nag shut up man we're just having fun" said Mitch. "What kind of example are you gonna be to Mark and Diane?,are you telling them it's okay to be drunk?asked Lorelei in anger. "No we aren't drunk" said Lorean. "Yes you are,i am so embarrassed" said Clarence. Everyone got into the car and went home. Nightfall came so it was time to sleep. Clarence and Lorelei slept in their bed with Rebecca sleeping in her cradle. Lorean and Mitch were kissing. Mark slept in his room and Diane in her own room. Natasha slept alone on her bed. In the morning Clarence woke up to wake everyone up for a day of shopping. Clarence started at Natashas room "Wake up we're going shopping" said Clarence. Then he went to Dianes room "Hello big girl we're going shopping" said Clarence. "Yay" said Diane. "Yeah now wake your brother up" said Clarence. He went to Loreans room but saw no one was there. He walked to Mitch's room and found Lorean and Mitch in the same bed. They both woke up in shock. "Did we just...?asked Mitch. "I can't remember" said Lorean. "You were both drunk,we're going shopping unless you wanna be alone" said Clarence. "Uh... we'll come" said Mitch. "Well i can't i gotta visit Lance" said Lorean. "Oh yeah don't tell him you saw me" said Clarence. "I won't" laughed Lorean. "Who's this Lance guy?asked Mitch. "Some guy who wants to kill me for kissing Lorean we met in prison" replied Clarence. "Oh so things are tense between you two?asked Mitch. "Yeah i'd rather not talk about it" said Clarence. Mitch nodded his head and got dressed. Lorean got dressed as well and drove to the prison to visit Lance. As everyone walked to the car they saw the government supervisor on a stage. "What's going on there?asked Clarence. "I don't know let's check it out" replied Lorelei. They all walked up to the stage. "Greetings Silverdale as you all know Clarence Jones has discovered a comet" said the supervisor. The entire crowd cheered loudly. "I didn't mean it was a good thing" said the supervisor. The crowd went silent. "That's what i wanted to hear anyway we have information that the Clarence comet is plummeting to Silverdale and the collision might wipe us all off the face of the earth" said the supervisor. "But we are working on a laser rifle to prevent this from happening but it will have to be in close proximity to fire at it,so by the afternoon everyone must take shelter" he said. The entire crowd turned around to walk home but found Clarence behind them all. They all charged for Clarence and grabbed him. They tied him up with thick ropes. "This is all your fault Clarence Jones" said one man in the crowd. "What?, how?"asked Clarence. "It's your comet" said a woman in the crowd. "That doesn't mean that I'm the reason it's coming here" said Clarence. "You discovered it" said a woman in the crowd. "If it wasn't for me you all wouldn't have known that you might die plus i already have something to stop the comet" said Clarence. "Present this weapon" said the supervisor. "It's me" said Clarence. The crowd laughed continuously at Clarence. "What are you gonna do?commit suicide" laughed a woman. "I can't show you,it's in me" said Clarence. The crowd laughed at Clarence. "In you?don't be ridiculous" said a man. "I'm serious just wait" said Clarence. "We don't have time to wait" said a man as he pointed a pitchfork to his stomach. "Whoa let's not get hasty,all you need to do is..." said Clarence but he got stabbed with the pitchfork. The man pulled out the pitchfork and dropped it. Clarence fell to the ground motionless. Lorelei burst into tears. "The only substitute is Rebecca so just anger her or something" said Mitch. "Okay" said Lorelei. Rebecca was standing and she turned around. Lorelei crouched down and said" Mommy doesn't want to do this but i have to do this to protect the city". "What are you gonna do mommy?asked Rebecca. "What should I say Mitch?asked Lorelei. "Say something like um... you won't get ice-cream or no sweets ever again" said Mitch. "Okay Rebecca no ice-cream for as long as you live under my roof" said Lorelei. Rebecca bursted into tears. "And you'll never have sweets" said Lorelei. Rebecca started crying louder. "It's not working Mitch,what should I do?asked Lorelei. Mitch shrugged his shoulders "Wait i guess it only works when you're older" said Mitch. The comet started emerging the city. The entire crowd scattered around. The comet started emerging,as it emerged the city started ripping into particles. Lorelei carried Rebecca to the house and Mitch followed her. The comet almost made contact with the ground Clarence opened his eyes and got up, his arm immediately transformed and punched the comet and it turned into rock particles. Mitch and Lorelei ran outside and saw Clarence with only his right arm covered in the red strings. Clarence stared at his hand as it slowly transformed into his normal hand. Mitch and Lorelei ran to Clarence. Lorelei hugged him and kissed him. Mitch bro hugged him. "What was that?asked Clarence. "Did i forget to mention that sapphirius rosius allows any body part to change in a case of emergency" said Mitch. "No you didn't mention that" said Clarence. "Oh sorry" said Mitch. "Tell me more about this sapphirius rosius" said Clarence. "Well it gives you amazing strengt,durability and speed both in human form and beast form" said Mitch. "Whoa cool" said Clarence. "Whoa check out those rocks I'll examine this in my lab" said Mitch as he picked one of the rocks up. "Wow that's so cool where'd they come from?asked Lorelei. "Outer space" replied Mitch. "Whoa awesome" said Lorelei. "Yo Clarence use your beast form to carry those rocks" said Mitch. "No prob" said Clarence. Clarence transformed and lifted the rocks to his lab. "Sorry Rebecca mommy was trying to anger you so you can destroy that big rock okay,do you forgive me?asked Lorelei. Rebecca nodded her head as she wiped her tears. "Come let's go get ice-cream daddy has a lot of money" said Lorelei as she rubbed her nose with Rebeccas nose. Later that night Lorean came back. "Yo Clarence Lance says hi" said Lorean. "What did I tell you?asked Clarence in frustration. "I'm just kidding,he wanted me to tell you that he is being released soon" said Lorean. "Okay looks like I'm on the run again" said Clarence. Everyone laughed at him. Clarence didn't laugh because he knew what Lance was capable of. "Cheer up Clarence he can't transform into a beast,can he?asked Mitch. "No he can't you're right i shouldn't worry about Lance" said Clarence. Meanwhile in Clarences heart he felt scared that Lance might hurt his family.
