Killian, Hook, or whatever his name was, sat in the passenger seat of my yellow bug, giving me directions on where he lived.

Turns out, he lived on a ship. It was beautiful, and seemed strangely familiar, as if I had been on it before.

As we pulled up into the parking lot next to the docks, a vision of me standing on it flashed into my head. I was standing next to a woman with jet black, shoulder length hair, and dark brown eyes. I called her Regina. I blacked out for a few seconds, and then came back as the vision passed.

Henry and Killian had been talking away, and didn't seem to notice my odd behaviour.

Henry seemed a bit nervous around him, though. Maybe it was the whole Captain Hook thing. Henry was really imaginative, so there's really no way to know what's going on inside his head.
Or it could be because I just bailed a random guy out of jail from off the streets.

Now that I think about it, I should be scared, but I'm not.

He just seemed so gentle, and kind. I couldn't see him being a pirate.

Or maybe I could. I stared into his sea-blue eyes as he spoke to Henry in a soft and calm voice, and it almost felt as if this is how it has always been, and how it should be. But what am I thinking? What is wrong with me today?

I watched as Killian said goodbye to us, got out of the car, and walked to his ship. He shivered, and his teeth chattered.

I looked at the temperature. It was below freezing. I couldn't just let him sleep on the ship and risk getting frostbite.

But then again, why did I care? I argued with myself, but then finally called out to Killian.

"Wait!"

He turned around, and looked at me, his cheeks turning pink from the cold.

"I have an extra bedroom at my apartment," I said, as nonchalantly as I could. "You could stay there for a few nights. Until it gets a bit warmer. Only if you want, though."

He smiled. "Thank you. I think I'll take you up on that offer, love." He began walking back to the car, and I bit my lip.

What on earth am I doing offering up my home to a complete stranger?
