I Put My Heart Before My Mind

Baby prep

**Jenna's POV**

"Jenna, are you ready too open gifts?" Zoey asked

"Yeah, but do you know where Ryan is?" I asked

"Uh, no, but I can get him. Do you want him to help open gifts" she asked

"Yes please" I told her

A few minutes later Ryan came and sat by me.

"Sorry, baby, I was talking to my parents" he said

"It's ok don't worry. Are you ready?" I asked

"Yeah" he said handing me the first gift

Ryan and I got clothes, diapers, bottles, bibs, and everything we would need for our little man

"One more" Ryan said carrying a heavy box and setting it next to me.

I looked at the tag

To: Axel

From: uncle Ghosty and auntie Kylie

I slowly unwrapped the box, and opening the box

"Oh, my goodness" I said looking in the box

"What is it?" Jamie asked

Ryan pulled out a baby bounce seat, and a scrapbook. The front read "letters from the ones who love you most"

I opened it reading the first note

Dear Axel,
   I'm so excited to meet you. You're gonna be such a rockstar when you grow up.
                      Love you,
                      Uncle Chris

"There's letters from both bands, and some friends and family." Kylie said

"Thank you so much" I said hugging her

"No problem" she said hugging me

After all the presents were open we loaded everything up and cleaned up and drove home.

"Wanna fold some baby clothes" Ryan asked me as I laid in bed

"Yeah, are you gonna help?" I asked

"Well, yeah" he said bringing in clothes for us to fold

"Baby, he's kicking" I told Ryan

Ryan put his hand over my stomach waiting for him to move again.

"I feel him" Ryan said smiling

"He'll be here in like 4 weeks." I said

"I know, I need to finish his room, and put together the stroller and car seat." Ryan said

"It'll get done. Don't stress about it" I told him

"I know, just a lot to do and not a lot of time"

"Well, if you need help. Let me know"

"I'm not gonna have my pregnant wife do stuff. You need to rest. The guys are gonna come over tomorrow and help me"

"Oh, ok" I said kissing him

"I love you, Jenna"

"I love you more" I told him

The next day 

I'm in Axel's room putting the finishing touches on his room. The guys are downstairs putting our stroller together.

"Soo, how's it going?" Zoey asked

"Good, do you like the babys room?" I asked

"Yes, I love the anchor theme, the navy blue and white goes great together" she said

"I'm glad you like it"

"Now all we need is baby Axel" Zoey said

"Yeah, he'll be here soon hopefully"

"I'm sure he'll come out soon. He cant wait to meet us" Zoey said

"Yeah, hey I have more baby clothes too fold, do you wanna help?" I asked

"Yeah, sure" Zoey said sitting with me helping.

I'm glad we had this alone time before Axel comes.
