Bloody School Days

Chapter 2

As the light got closer, and bigger, he realized that the light was very familiar.

Not that he saw this thing before, but that it felt like he had.

He strained his mind to remember who this was.

Then, the voice turned from a calming voice to an urgent one.

"Hey! C'mon! Wake up!" it said.

"You aren't dead! You can't be dead!" it cried out.

Lui felt like the chains of death strapped him down to the darkness. But the voice seemed to break those.

"Wake up! Their waiting for you!" the voice screamed.

Then it hit him.

It... Was... Me.

He struggled to get up, breaking the chains.

Clang! They went, falling to the darkness that felt so close.

One chain remained, but it's hold was way stronger than the others before.

No, not today!

It can't be today!

The class jumped back.

Their friend just sat bolt upright after getting bitten three times by a huge snake zombie.

"Lui? Are you... Are you okay?" Ryan asked.

He was tall, big and chubby. Though he looked big enough to be a wrestler, he was shy and had low self-esteem most of the time.

Lui nodded, shaking. His entire body vibrated with electrical fear.

Then he remembered the bite.

He quickly stood and ran a foot away before saying, "Stay away from me. I'm bit."

"Bit? By what?" they asked.

Lui looked at his shoulder.

He blinked. It was supposed to be right there.

The bite was gone. The 2 inch wide wound, and the stinging poison, was gone.

"Lui, are you alright?" RJ asked. He took a step forward.

"Back away!" Lui hissed. "Just... Just give me a second to think."

One, one thousand

Two, one thousand

Three, one thousand

He didn't feel any different. He didn't think he wanted to kill anyone.

"Ha! I get it. He's trying to scare us." Rea said.

"What? No!" he exclaimed.

I... I saw it...

"Run..."

All of them turned to the right.

But Lui and Jerome didn't. They looked to the left.

Because when the class heard the warning, they heard something far more important. Far more...

Terrifying...

"Teacher?!" the class exclaimed and ran to the crawling figure infront of them. He didn't look like the two zombies they saw, but still had the same bloody clothes.

"Run... Please..." he begged them.

"Before... He gets you... Before... You turn.. Like me..."

"RUUUUNNNN!!!!" Jerome and Lui screamed.
