So... Hey guys. My name is Althea and I am sixteen years old. Yeah, I know, typical, all books these days have a sixteen year old in them blah, blah, blah... Well, you see when I was younger I always thought when I became sixteen everything would change, I thought that year would be my year, you know? It would be when everything amazing happened, it was what I looked forward to, what kept me going. But now that I'm here I've realized... It's just another year. A year like any other, and unless I did something about it, my year, the year I had been waiting for, would fly by like all the others. So here I am, recording my experience of being a sixteen year old. And I promise you, it's going to be interesting.
