Joe quickly ran over to Sal and knocked him away from the fast moving tentacles. Q hissed loudly and stood up on all fours. His tentacles started to swing around wildly, knocking things over and sending them flying through the air. Murray rushed over to Sal and Joe, grabbed their hands, and guided them out of the store. All three of them bolted down the street with Q chasing behind them.
"What the hell is going on?" Sal asked breathlessly.
"I don't know," Murray answered. "Just run."
Sal felt something wrap around his waist and pull him back. He screamed loudly, punching whatever was holding him hostage. The slimy appendage tightened around Sal's frame and squeezed him. Sal watched helplessly as Murr and Joe were also grabbed by the disgusting tentacles and pulled towards their possible doom.
"Let us go!"
"Drop me you beast!"
With tears pouring from his eyes, Sal tried to free himself. He failed over and over again before finally giving up. He couldn't do it anymore. He was tired. Sal dropped his head down, shut his eyes, and relaxed his body. If he were to die, he wouldn't want to fight it. Sal felt a cold hand graze his cheek before he dropped to the floor. When he opened his eyes again, he saw Q. His cheeks rosy and his smile wide.
