Everyone in the room gasped as they saw the familiar sand clustered on Jack's fingers.

"Jack, where did you get that?" North asked quickly.

"I-I-I'm not sure" Jack stammered, "maybe I got it when I was with Pitch."

"Here let me see." Tooth stated as she advanced towards Jack.

Tooth grabbed Jack's head, noticing it was extremely cold, and bent it forward. When she looked down at his neck she let out another gasp. Etched into his pale skin was a black wispy figure like they saw on the door to the room he was in. Tooth called the others over, and they  had identical reactions to Tooth. Tooth felt Jack go rigged in her hands, and she released him to see what was wrong.

Kill  ...  Kill  ...  Kill

I'll make it stop, the flashbacks, I can make them stop. I just need one thing from you in return.

CONVERT!

Jack fell to the floor and began to twitch violently. He felt another side of himself trying desperately to take over his subconscious. Jack tried to keep in control, but he was fighting an uphill battle. He felt thoughts creep into his mind, terrible, awful thoughts. Jack felt a part of himself fully converted into Pitch's pawn. He rose shakily and stared at the bewildered guardians.

"Get away from me I'm fine!"  He yelled without realizing what he was saying.

"No, stay! Don't listen to me! Don't trust what I'm saying!" He shouted at them.

"Jack? What are you talking about?" Tooth asked uncertainly.

"Come here, let me show you." He said menacingly.

"Get back! Don't come near me!" Jack panicked.

"What is happening?" North questioned the others.

"STOP! I DON'T WANT YOU HERE! GO AWAY! GET OUT! GET OUT! GET OUT! Jack screamed while violently beating the left side of his head with his fist.

"Jack stop! You're going to hurt yourself!" Tooth shouted.

"Come on, Just a little closer. I only need one hand around that tiny little neck of yours." He  said ferociously.

The guardians all gasped and backed away a few inches at his words. They were afraid of him ... Just how he wanted it. No, he wanted to be close to these people not for them to fear him. Jack decided he had to end this madness one way or another, and he wasn't getting anywhere with his fist. He walked over to a desk in the hospital wing and grabbed a syringe that was full of anesthesia.

"Jack, no!" Tooth shouted as he neared his arm with the needle.

"I have to end this." He replied.

Jack then shoved the needle into the vein on his wrist. He started to feel drowsy and wondered whether there was too much in that syringe. Before he could ask anything he had come crashing down to the floor blacking out completely.
