Chapter Two It all started with a text message:
Hey Girl! Whats going on?
It was my best friend (at the time) Carmen. I didn't really feel like talking to her...I'd been sobbing for hours in the bathroom because my boyfriend and I had just gotten in a huge fight. He had told me by the end of it that he didn't want to continue with our relationship...I was heartbroken. I texted her back:
Hi....it's over Carmen....
No! What happened????
We got into this huge fight and I can't even remember how it started...all I know is he's through he doesn't want to do this anymore...
Oh girl...I'm so sorry...I'll see you this afternoon ok? and we'll talk more.
Ok....
I had bowling practice that afternoon, and she was on my high school bowling team....so was my boyfriend. I was not looking forward to seeing him at all things were going to be so awkward.
About an hour before practice I recieved another text...it was him.
Hey, so I'm done, I don't think we should date...Let's at least try and stay friends. Bye.
I wasn't even going to respond. I got my stuff together and left for practice.
